Funny how perceptions suddenly change where the perpetrator happens to be a foreign and apparently Muslim extremist with a knife vs. a crazy American white guy with a gun and the involvement of a black man who manages to save lives without having using a gun.

With as many guns that we have walking around, there has to be an occasional stop of a bad guy. However several innocent people die for every occasion like this. This woman now has to deal with the guilt and the finality of killing another human being. Even trained soldiers have trouble with that.

the actual story is that she was an off duty cop in brazil, so she's going to be fine. In this country, even though the liberals claim the sky is falling we're awash with guns on the streets, that really isn't the case. and look up your facts gunfacts.info and find out that cops shoot innocent people almost 500% more of the time than civilians do.

The perp was threatening and robbing women and children with a firearm. This woman is a cop in a very dangerous city I am sure she will sleep just fine knowing she did the right thing.
Your sympathy for a dead dirt bag is misplaced. You should be applauding her.

Pay attention. This happened in Brazil, which has very strict gun laws. It's only the fact that she was an off-duty cop that allowed her to even own a gun, much less have one in her purse. BTW, Brazil has a much larger problem with guns and homicide than we do, despite their very strict gun laws.
That is the 9mm problem but women can't redily handle
.45 or 10mm. You really need a disabling round in that situation.
Head shots really are the best in most situations......
She killed someone, so yes, it was murder.
That was more of a non criminal homicide.
