GOP Blocks Access to Trump/Putin Translator

In the two prior elections, they failed to sway the election results so that their chosen puppet won.

Like they did in 2016.

How long have you been asleep, anyway?

Did you sleep through the recent report that Rosenstein did his press release off-of, where they concluded that the election results were not swayed in 2016?

"However, all is not as rosy regarding the construction of the huge bridge. Among Crimean carriers there is a fear that the roads of the peninsula will not withstand the loads, and big trucks will not be allowed to enter the bridge at all."

Is Russia's steel cheap quality maybe? Like China's?
the steel is fine..construction for al lI know is not corrupted.

the Kerch Strait is an extremely difficult location for construction. Its geological condition, high seismic activity and adverse weather add complications to the building process. The layer of silt on the bottom of the strait is thick, which means piles needs to be driven deep into the ground — sometimes to depths of up to 90 meters. It is difficult to predict how deep a pile must go, says Zege, because the thickness of the silt layer varies.

No I did not, but it's no surprise that people like you only pay attention to the part that supports what you want it to....

Rosenstein’s New Indictment Can’t Be Brushed Aside -
But Trump will try, anyway.

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein said at the press conference announcing the indictment on Friday that he had briefed Trump on the grand jury’s findings earlier this week, and yet, Trump has continued to brush off concerns that he may have won the White House as the result of Moscow’s cyberspycraft.

Trump and his supporters will no doubt highlight one passage from the news conference. The indictment, Rosenstein said, contains “no allegation … that any American citizen committed a crime” or that Russia’s hacking “changed the vote count” or affected the outcome of the 2016 election. One can almost hear Trump and his press aides shrugging off the whole affair, claiming it proves once again that there was “no collusion” on the part of the candidate or his campaign.

However, this would be a willful distortion of the story. It ignores two other statements that Rosenstein made. First, he said, it was “not our responsibility”—not the Justice Department’s mandate, nor within its powers—to conclude whether Russia’s actions actually tilted the result of the election. Second, he added, the goal of Russia’s conspiracy was to “have an impact on the election,” namely to boost Trump’s chances of defeating Hillary Clinton.

In other words, though Rosenstein did not put it this way, the indictment throws further doubt on the legitimacy of Trump’s presidency.

The indictment confirms not only the broad outlines of the intelligence community’s 2017 report but also certain assessments, leaked to the press over the past several months, that had sparked controversy in certain circles. It states, for instance, that key purveyors of stolen emails—notably Guccifer 2.0 and DC Leaks, which claimed to be independent actors—were, in fact, fictitious covers “created and controlled” by the GRU conspirators. It also states that the hacking of several state election boards, and of contractors who verified voter-registration rolls, was also conducted by the GRU.

So there were no such "conclusions" drawn.

But you just go ahead and go back to sleep.

I wouldn't want reality to disturb you.

Putin, at the wheel of an orange heavy KAMAZ dump-truck, drove 19 km (12 miles) across the bridge from the Kerch Strait.
Some Russians are calling it “Putin’s bridge”, designed to link Crimea into Russia’s transport network.

At a ceremony broadcast live on state TV, Putin, dressed in blue jeans, was met by cheering workers on the Crimean side after driving the truck in a convoy of vehicles.

“At last, thanks to your talent, this project, this miracle, has happened,” Putin told the workers.

In Kiev, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said: “The illegal construction of the Kerch bridge is the latest evidence of the Kremlin’s disregard for international law.

“It is particularly cynical that its opening is happening on the eve of the latest anniversary of the deportation of the Crimean-Tatar people by the Stalin regime.”

Russia annexed Crimea from Ukraine in 2014, drawing sanctions and prompting a deterioration in ties with the West. Many in Russia saw the move as restoring Moscow’s rule over a historically Russian region.
Built at a cost of 223 billion roubles ($3.60 billion), the bridge will be the longest dual-purpose span in Europe. The Kremlin said it would be opened to cars on Wednesday and the rail section was due to be completed at the end of 2019.

“Putin initiated this project himself. Many didn’t believe these plans were possible,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Tuesday ahead of the ceremony.

“This is an extremely important day from this point of view and in a practical sense and in symbolic terms.”

The road stretch of the bridge was due to be completed by the end of 2018, but the opening was brought forward at Putin’s request.

Putin inspected the bridge in March ahead of the presidential election he won by a landslide, saying it was important to have the link to the Black Sea peninsula open for the summer tourist season.

The opening ceremony drew criticism from the West.

“France condemns the construction by Russia of the Kerch Bridge, which deprives Ukraine of full access and the use of its internationally recognized territorial waters,” a French Foreign Ministry spokeswoman said.

U.S. State Department Spokeswoman Heather Nauert in a statement on Tuesday said the “bridge serves as a reminder of Russia’s ongoing willingness to flout international law” and said it was an attempt by Russia “to solidify its unlawful seizure and its occupation of Crimea” and impede navigation of the Kerch Strait.

It's you leftists that are deeply disturbed. Douchebag Donald is delivering on that as much as he is on porn stars and judicial nominees who believe in the Constitution (are not leftists).

I'm sitting here looking at maps. How does the bridge deprive Ukraine of full access to its internationally recognized territorial waters? Ukraine still has access to the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov. Or, did Putin claim parts of it belong to only Crimea? And, the huge port in Odessa is in Ukraine.

Or is the problem mainly that Putin is just doing what he darn pleases without respect to his neighbor's wishes or in a more "lawful" way?

maps huh? I'm impressed! you can't understand Crimea if you don't get the geography.
Being too lazy too google up maps of Ukraine..( feel free to post a map when you are describing it-BTW)

the union of Crimea with Russia redefines both the geography as well as the geopolitical chessboard in the Black Sea basin.'
With the March 18, 2014 Treaty signed between Russia and Crimea, the Russian Federation will extend its control over the Black Sea as well over the Sea of Azov, the West coastline of which borders on Eastern Ukraine and the Donesk region. (see map below)

blackseamap.gif

The status of Sevastopol as an autonomous entity separate from Crimea is related to the location of
Russia’s Naval base in Sevastopol.

The Eastern part of Crimea –including the Kerch straits– are now under Russia’s jurisdiction control. On the Eastern side of the Kerch straits is Russia’s Krasnodar region and extending southwards are the port cities of Novorossiysk and Sochi.

Novorossiysk is also strategic. It is Russia’s largest commercial port on the Black Sea, at the cross-roads of major oil and gas pipelines between the Black Sea and Caspian sea.,,,,

Yeah, I see more now. So, is Putin going to allow those locked-in cities along the SE coast of Ukraine to use the Sea of Azov and navigate under his bridge to get into the Black Sea?

This is why I believe most Trump supporters are full of shit --- if Obama ever had a secret meeting with anyone, let alone a country that is our historical foe -- the GOP would be flipping out. Now when Obama did have his first meeting with Putin, it wasn't done in secrecy with no other officials present -- and the meeting ended with the two countries agreeing the sign the New START nuclear arms reduction treaty -- which was a continuation of Reagan's arms reduction deal.

Was Obama at the podium with Putin trashing the US in favor of Russia? No -- not even on the so-called apology tour did Obama trash the US in favor of ANY country -- if you think he did, drop the quote..

Now after the 2 countries agreed to the new treaty, did the GOP praise the new president's foreign policy achievement? No - many of them actually opposed an arms reduction treaty that their own St. Reagan started -- but you people want to talk about Trump derangement? Did you forget the Obama years?
http://articles.latimes.com/2010/dec/20/nation/la-na-start-20101220

Now lets put things in context, Obama didn't have a secret meeting, discussed details of the treaty with Congress -- and the GOP's main complaint was as McConnell explained "All of a sudden, we're once again trying to rush things right here before Christmas Eve," McConnell told CNN. "I think that was not the best way to get the support of people like me." ---- yet apparently Trump agreed to a deal and simply days later, Russia is already talking about it in more detail than we know here.

Now compare that to not even a treaty, not even a peace deal, but as Russian media tells us -- it is a military agreement that Russia is touting as a win --- Trump is refusing to even talk about it -- and the GOP is silent -- this is why most trump supporters are pathetic.

The guy in the Oval Office is doing what we elected him to do. He's keeping Muslims and Mexicans out while keeping the EPA from interfering with American businesses. He's denuking North Korea while punishing Iran for violating their nuke agreement.

He is a disgusting, ignorant abomination...catering to the fears of the lowest intelligence Americans.

I understand your devotion to him.

Did you sleep through the recent report that Rosenstein did his press release off-of, where they concluded that the election results were not swayed in 2016?

He said that none of the vote totals were changed, but not that the propaganda campaign didn't influence voters.

In what manner were voters influenced? To believe that Crooked Hillary can't be trusted around classified material, and that Douchebag Donald can't be trusted around women?

By waging the informational war, Russia helped changed the media narrative to focus on nonsense like the e-mails and other garbage (like Pizzagate, which was so effective a brainless Conservative went into the shop armed).

If propaganda doesn't work, how come companies spend billions of dollars on advertising their products?

So, you're on record as saying that national security is nonsense?

I didn't say anything nonsensical. What I said was that Russia waged a propaganda war against us that was effective in influencing the minds of the weak-willed Conservatives.

So, you think conservatives would have voted for Hillary if not for Russian propaganda?
