My best friend from school, Oksana, was only here two years when we first met. Her English was far better than Melanoma's after 30. Her son was 13 when they came here. He has no trace of accent at all. He also speaks German, Ukrainian, Russian and is a Major and Air Force pilot. She has a BSN and a Masters in geology. Both are far more accomplished and better citizens than the unintelligent grifting gold-digger.

sounds typical for your average legal immigrant.

Malaria is unusual.

I don't see how one can live full time in the United States for 30 years and still have a thick Slavic slur, like something from a Hollywood movie caricature.

Malaria must have a bad ear for languages and is slow to learn.

I think it’s because she spent most of her time around her parents. Barron was taught to speak their language and had an accent as as toddler. I imagine he lost it when he entered school. Can you imagine the four of them speaking and leaving Donald out of their conversation! 😂

I can't imagine her ever having interesting conversations with Donold!

Having her parents around is no excuse. My Pop's mother, sister, and most of his friends were native Russian speakers and that's who he mostly socialized with. And they spoke in Russian all the bloody time! But several decades living in America just left him with a trace accent, not a thick Slavic slur.

I just don't think Malaria is very smart, not very motivated, and is a slow learner!
