a taker is someone that takes shit out of the system. that is what it is. I don't know why you would think someone that DOENS'T TAKE, should be a taker. That makes no sense. Takers are people that are in the red. Natural born serfs.

Don’t you find that a little vague? Take what? We all take out of the system. Does this apply to organizations too? Plenty of corporations take a lot out of our system and put little back. Are they takers too?

Another question is if this purely monetary how does one assess how much they have given vs how much they receive?

By the way do you even know what a serf is? It’s someone that tied to the land as property. That is a slave. Not a chattel slave but a slave with no rights non the less.

Yes I am aware of what a serf is. I believe most people would be perfectly fine and happy as serfs. They have a natural inclination to be ruled and to be subservient. People that want the government to wipe their ass are natural born serfs. They would love to work a small plot of land and have no responsibilities beyond that.

Unless you are self employed or own your own business, you are a serf, you go to work everyday and do what you are told, you pay taxes, you follow laws. You act superior when you are really no different. You have your own piece of land you work for the lord

No...most of those 40% who don’t pay Federal income tax are working class schlubs trying to raise kids and barely getting by and have greater reasons than you to resent those who exploit the welfare state. Wait till you get married and, God save us all, have kids. You’ll find out how expensive those crumb snatchers are and how those deductions add up. Particularly if you’re a one income household.

the solution is simple. The only people opposed to the tax cut are democrats. If the middle class want to keep the same taxes after 10 years then all they need to do is elect more republicans so they can make it permanent.

Again i believe both parties should propose a challenge. If next year your taxes go down vote republican. If they go up as Democrats claim they will then vote democrat.

The corporate tax rate is 20% and the AMT is also 20% which means there are functionally no loopholes and all corporations are on an equal playing field paying 20%. No more situations like GE where they pay 0 because of random deductions.

It also encourages people to vote for state representatives who will not tax them as much.

Lastly it gives the Democrats what they want too. For years Buffet and other liberals have been saying they want to be taxed more. 70% of Americans take standardized deductions and dont take a penny in SALT deductions. The only people who take this are those who are well off. Liberals in New York and CA now get to pay more like they always wanted.
