Gun Monkey Follies

Stopping those like Tyler Brown isn't the goal of the gun grabber monkeys. Far from it. The GGM's look to disarm the law abiding, those who pose a danger to the party and the goals of that party. A black man with a criminal history is treasured by the leftist fools who promote violent crime and prop up violent criminals.
That must have gotten cheers at the last cross burning.

Propaganda from anti gun organizations is not "education" nitwit.

Citizens cannot purchase guns originally designed for military use. Those guns are fully automatic and have long been outlawed.

There is no such thing as an assault rifle no matter how much yammering from the left lying about it there is.

So long as the government is in possession of AR style rifles smart citizens would be wise to keep theirs.

Not to nitpick, but citizens can, in fact, purchase and own fully automatic weapons.

They just have to have numerous permits, pay a Tax Stamp of $200 for each weapon when it is sold.

They usually get in the pipeline outside the country. A guy has lots of guns and needs money. Another guy has money and wants guns. Capitalism.
No, criminal associates with no record buy them in states with lesser gun laws. Personal sales aren't regulated.

Fully automatics are very regulated. Not just anyone who can pass a background check qualifies. There are lots of hoops to jump through to purchase one...from anyone.

A lie that you cannot provide proof for.

???

You tell really stupid and weird lies.

That the most recent that would make it a felony for any person to own a so-called "assault" weapon.

Similar state level attacks on civil rights in direct violation of the 14th Amendment equal protection clause are legion.

Show the bill or proprosal to confiscate legally owned guns. If you can't that makes you a chattering gun monkey.

I already did, chattering gun grabber monkey.

Here are more;

Those permits often cost in the thousands of dollars. But you are correct, and the purchase of full-auto weapons has risen sharply since the Wuhan Designer Virus® hit.

Comrade, can you provide documented evidence that a firearm bought at a "gun show" from a private party has EVER been used in a mass shooting? Or in any shooting of note?

Because otherwise this straw man you are erecting in you zeal to end civil rights is just more gun grabber monkey bullshit.

I have never understood the attraction of owning a fully automatic weapon.

Meh, if you don't want one, don't buy one.

I personally wouldn't. I shot an M4 in Vegas. I was not impressed, The rifle was not well maintained - those places run the weapons a ridiculous amount. But the 3 round burst jumped and seemed useless to me.

But that is just my opinion. I can hit an acorn from 100 yards using iron sights with my Mini-14 ranch rifle. I like hitting what I aim at. But again, that's my personal choice.

I much prefer accuracy over volume.

I agree.

That said, this illustrates the stupidity of regulating these rifles the way they are. The press created a false impression of "Tommy Guns" back in prohibition, that led to the absurd tax stamp and regulation we see today.

As we both know, a quality semi-auto is far more effective in real life.

The military keeps them in single shot mode except when providing "suppressive fire."
