NYT has seen nearly flat growth for four years. 2018 was a better year for them, but nothing spectacular. After all their write offs and special exclusions they were able to take advantage of tax $29 million.
I think $32 a share is still too high. I wouldn't buy.

It was a good point that Fox News has all the conservative viewers, but the rest of the public is all over the place, distributed among the rest of the outlets.
Fox News is popular because hatred is popular.
Fox News gives people reasons to hate. Hateful people want reasons to justify their hatred. It makes it much easier to hate if you are part of a large group of haters.
Fox News provides all the scapegoats. You will hear about everybody you need to hate. They take their messaging directly from the President of hatred, President Trump. You are supposed to hate the immigrants. It used to be Muslims, but Trump found out the immigrant thing polls higher, so he has sort of dropped the Muslim thing. Immigrants. That works well for him, keeps him polling higher if he stays focused on immigrants, so that's what he does. That's why Fox News can't let a day go by without mentioning immigrants.
Trump is a master at playing the media. That's all he does. Image is EVERYTHING to him.
Fox News is The Trump Channel.
