they are not natural allies because Russia is a European orientation.
But Putin is opportunistic -as is Xi -and they cooperate where their interests lie.

The problem is we are forcing Putin more and more into the Sino sphere -as European sanctions take hold
and generalized Russiaphobia disturbs trust building
