Has the United States lost the Iran war?

The people now running Iran are much more radical than those Trump had killed. They pose a threat, but Trumps actions heightened the threat. Killed American hero’s and is roiling the oil markets worldwide. A president should never take military action unless he has a clear OBJECTIVE and exit plan.

Clearly DJT did not have any of those things, it was the second most damaging and reckless thing he has done.
I dont believe his actions heightened anything. He is dealing with a problem that needs to be dealt with that long existed trump. They are threat to decent people everywhere and those who dont recognize that a fools. They hate you just as much as they hate me

They share roads that travel deep into China, and there are these things called airplanes, and trucks that ship items to be used for rebuilding. Look at the newspapers, they describe that they are doing so.

Below is chat GPT's response to the question, 'Is Iran rapidly rebuilding?"

Yes — by most recent accounts, on two fronts at once, though with real uncertainty about how far along things actually are.

On missiles, the picture is fairly stark. After the 2026 war with Israel and the US — which involved roughly 2,600 targeted strikes and around 30,000 combined attacks, and which Iranian officials say cost some $300 billion in military infrastructure damage — Iran's ballistic missile arsenal fell from an estimated 2,500 missiles to somewhere between 500 and 1,000. Israeli defense officials, per reporting this month, have been surprised by how fast that number is climbing back. Some of the recovery is less "rebuilding" than "recovering what was already there": Iran reportedly used bulldozers to dig out underground stockpiles faster than analysts expected, meaning some of the "new" missiles are actually pre-war inventory that survived the strikes rather than freshly manufactured ones. But Iranian officials are also on record saying production itself has resumed "at a much faster pace than expected," and if output reaches even 100–300 missiles a month, some estimates put Iran back near pre-war arsenal levels by early-to-mid 2027. The IDF's own assessment is that it "substantially harmed" Iran's capability but that Iran found "creative ways" to bounce back on specific threats.

On the nuclear side, it's murkier but points the same direction. The June 2025 strikes destroyed most of Iran's known, above-ground enrichment infrastructure, and satellite imagery this summer showed repair work at sites like Taleghan 2 (within the Parchin complex, believed to store explosive components relevant to weapons work) and vehicle activity at tunnels near the suspected underground site at Pickaxe Mountain near Isfahan — notably, some of that activity was observed while a memorandum with the US was supposedly in effect. Iran also still holds large stockpiles of previously enriched uranium and the technical know-how, even with facilities damaged, so the expert view (e.g., from Carnegie and FDD) is that Tehran is likely shifting toward smaller, harder-to-find clandestine facilities rather than trying to rebuild industrial-scale enrichment in the open. The IAEA has lost access to the damaged sites, so independent verification of exactly how far this has progressed is thin — much of what's public rests on satellite imagery interpretation, Israeli/Mossad assessments, and Iranian officials' own statements, all of which carry their own incentives to shade the picture one way or another.

The honest caveat: "rapidly rebuilding" is the framing coming largely from Israeli and Western defense/intelligence sources with an interest in maintaining pressure (including argument for further strikes), and from Iranian officials with an interest in projecting resilience. Both push toward the same narrative, which makes it plausible but also worth reading with some skepticism about precision — the actual state of the covert nuclear side in particular is genuinely contested rather than confirmed.

So you self-refuted?

Good job!

Then if they are rebuilding as quickly as is claimed, then thats all the more reason to continue bombing them. I hope we can agree that Iran is singularly focused on destroying the west and America specifically. What should we do?
Did you read the AI response from @Jarod ? His own post refutes that claim entirely. There is no evidence that Iran has rebuilt anything or substantially restocked armements or munitions.

Jeri did a classic "self own" and seems unaware he did so,

Delays are unfortunate. Iran hasnt kept to any deals. The radical islamists that run that country have no intention of giving up on trying to kill us. They were a problem for the founders of this country and they are a problem 250 years later. Im not sure how much its going to take to get people to realize radical islam poses a significant threat everywhere and not just here. Radical islamists make no distinction between you and me.

Iran will never keep a deal. Obama and John Kerry are assuring them that democrats have their back. Encouraging them to continue war against America and that democrats will openly aid them once the midterms are over and democrats regain power.

If this sounds a whole lot like treason, it's because it is.

How have his actions helped with those problems? Seems clear they have only made them worse.

What is his goal? The biggest mistake when you start a war is to have an amorphous goal, then it turns into a forever war.

His goal is to stop you from obtaining nuclear weapons. Your side has vowed to use nuclear weapons to obliterate Israel. Trump achieved his objective. You cannot build your nuke to terrorize the world.

The biggest mistake when you start a war is to have an amorphous goal, then it turns into a forever war.

The forever war is in Ukraine. The meltdown from the Epsteinites is because this diverts funds that could be embezzled from Ukraine.

Thats exactly what the left is, treasonous

It depends on what you mean by "helped". What do you mean by "worse"?

First stop Iran from getting a nuclear bomb. Have you ever conducted a war?

How many American military personnel have been killed, thus far, in this "forever" war as you call it? Its estimated more than 2500 died on D Day. Some projections before the invasion were that up to 1/3 of the landing force would be killed that day.

Help - made to be better than before
Worse - made to be not as good as before.

Its not over yet, but more than when Biden ended the Afghanistan war and less than Trump lost in the Afghanistan war.

Has he stopped them?

Has he stopped them?

Do you have a nuke?

No mushroom cloud over Tel Aviv. Obviously he stopped you.

You keep claiming you are winning - what objectives have you achieved? Israel still exists. Jews still draw breath. The Great Satan still blockades your ports. You still have negative GDP. What are your standards for "victory? " Terrorist attacks on merchant vessels?

I do not have a nuke.

But that has nothing to do with Iran. Please try to remember that this is an above plain politics thread.

One reason they don’t have a nuclear bomb is because the Obama agreement was working. Now they have no incentive or agreement to prevent them from developing one.

Remember, according to Trump, which is probably not valid, they were only two weeks from getting one in January. What do you think has happened since then that slowed them down?

I do not have a nuke.

Correct. Your side, the democrat / Iran alliance has been blocked from creating the nuclear weapon your Mullahs lust for,

But that has nothing to do with Iran. Please try to remember that this is an above plain politics thread.

I remember fully. Iran and the democrats are allies engaged in war against the United States. Your side, the Iranian side, has failed in the object of getting a nuke.

You keep claiming that you have defeated America. What is it your side has done that defines this great victory you cheer?

One reason they don’t have a nuclear bomb is because the Obama agreement was working.

Untrue, as you well know. The Obama plan ensured your side would have a nuclear weapon in 10 years.

Remember, Obama's Biden Puppetcy claimed Iran was weeks away from a nuke, in 2024.

Now they have no incentive or agreement to prevent them from developing one.

Your side no longer has the means, the ability. Trump stopped you.

So in what way have you defeated us?

Remember, according to Trump, which is probably not valid, they were only two weeks from getting one in January. What do you think has happened since then that slowed them down?

That wasn't Trump, that was Obiden's SOS, Anthony Blinken, as already proven.

So to recap, you have utterly nothing to support your claim that your side has defeated America. Terrorist attacks on civilian ships are the only "wins" your side has.

So, now you are self-reporting. I can move this thread too, or you can just leave well enough alone. At this point we've held a conversation about this, but you want to press. I am not going to entertain a change to the way the APP is moderated. People need to report when people cross the line, and you need to stay within the rules. Re-read them if you want, I'll put them right here. I'll even highlight specific ones that you should pay some attention to... Think whether or not you were courteous, kind, patient, or intelligent and receptive... I don't think I've ever seen that from you in this thread.

Now I do have to move this thread, because it is no longer on topic.
