I'm a big fan of pepper spray for self defense but they have limited range and don't work well in the wind. Here is a gadget that shoots a pepper BALL about 60 feet which then explodes on impact. Holds 5 pepperballs and is powered by a standard airgun CO2 cartridge. $300
