The judge did not put the normal restrictions on Rittenhouse drinking and consorting with gang members while on bail, because he was described as a "good kid". Now it turns out that he has a history of threatening school shootings, goes out to get drunk at age 18, and flashes white power gang signs while hanging out with gang members.
He is out on bail, charged with murder... Most people would define that as being in trouble. There is a chance he will be found not guilty, but I would not want to bet my life on it. He is basically stuck betting his life on it.
Just to be specific, when I say betting his life, I know he is not looking at the death penalty. But spending decades in prison would destroy much of his life. No one can promise that he won't spend the rest of his life in prison.

Nope. Smartest thing the kid could have done for self preservation if he does end up in prison. In prison the Aryan Brotherhood is at the very top of the food chain. They run the whole show. Those guys will see him as a hero type kid. If he ends up in prison that kid will have female prostitutes brought to him, cell phones, the best food, booze,... pretty much whatever he wants. Not saying I agree with it but him flashing that sign is the smartest thing he could have done. NO WAY they let a hair on that kids head be harmed.

He killed two people and maimed a third by firing into a crowd. Sure there were extenuating circumstances, but if the prosecution can prove Kyle was a racist and a member of a white supremacist gang who deliberately inserted himself into a BLM protest, then they can argue premeditation.
I have no doubt Kyle will get all the dick and balls he wants serving 10-20.
