Hero or hireling? The Steele story

https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli...a059f168dd2_story.html?utm_term=.3bb4d98e245b

Having read this, I think it's clear that Steele believed he was receiving alarming information about Trump from his Russian contacts. That's why he went to the FBI and then went public (neither of which he was being paid for).

The question remains whether this experienced and highly regarded intelligence agent was the dupe of a clever Russian disinformation operation. What would be their motive - did the Kremlin want to stop Trump?

He saw something that wasn't cool and he called The FBI ...

Yet when the Russians directly contacted Trump and his family didn't call The FBI

You make the call ...

Did Steele believe he was receiving disturbing information from his Russian contacts? After reading the article, I think one has to say yes.

Was he being systematically duped by the Russians? Possibly, but if so what was their motive?

Let's hear from the Trump cohorts.

He was a biased anti-Trump zealot and a payed DNC smear merchant you laughable fuck.

He saw a fat DNC paycheck to collaborate Russian intelligence on their behalf in order to run a disinformation campaign in the US to influence US politics and undermine faith in our democracy. God you're fucking dumb.

You clearly have no idea how silly you sound.

no one paid Steel to hand the FBI (who he worked with for decades) a bag of facts that made Trumpy appear no on the American team

the Fbi then looked at the bag of facts and said hey

we have intel that lines up with these facts

trumpy locations

trips to Russia

links to people

so they investigated it

why does the republican party side with Russia at very turn here

Bullshit, he was on the FBI payroll but they refused to pay him because he leaked to the press, god you're fucking ignorant.

It's a proven fact that he got his disinformation from Russian intel you ignorant fuck.

1) Russian officials were sources of key claims in dossier
We’re in the midst of media frenzy over Russian disinformation campaigns, particularly as they apply to the 2016 election. It is worth noting that the sources of the “Russia-Trump dossier” were senior Russian officials:

Source A—to use the careful nomenclature of his dossier—was ‘a senior Russian Foreign Ministry figure.’ Source B was ‘a former top level intelligence officer still active in the Kremlin.’

Dumbkin. The deals were done in Tel Aviv, not Moscow. Trump prostrated himself the lowest.

Steele is a 20 year veteran of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6). He rose close to the top and provided briefing material for prime ministers and a US president. He led the inquiry into the case of Alexander Litvinenko, Russian exile and Putin critic, murdered by Russian agents in London in 2006. After leaving the service, according to Sir Richard Dearlove (MI6 head 1999-2004), Steele became the “go-to person on Russia in the commercial sector” with a “superb reputation".

Steele began collecting information on Trump's Russia connections for Fusion GPS in June 2016. He was able to tap a network of humint sources developed over decades of Russia work. By September he was so concerned at what he was finding that he consulted Sir Andrew Wood, former British ambassador to Moscow. The two men analyzed the credibility of Steele’s information and discussed whether his sources could be leading him astray on purpose. They concluded that Steele’s sources were speaking at considerable risk to themselves and had no discernible reason to deceive a small intelligence firm. The right sort of people needed to be told, Wood said he told Steele. "You don’t have a choice. At least, you don’t have an honorable choice.”

But in the opinion of PraiseKok, Steele made it all up.

There isn't enough information publicly available to judge whether the Steele dossier is true, in whole or in part. But the only credible alternative is not PraiseKok's ludicrous claim. Rather, it's that Steele was systematically duped by a Russian disinformation operation. If so, what might their motives have been?

Wood was his collaborator on the pissgate dossier you stupid fuck:

In January 2017, Wood was revealed by The Independent to be the British diplomat who had played a key role in unsubstantiated claims that Donald Trump was involved in a sex scandal being used as "Kompromat" by Russia to control Trump.[3] When questioned by the newspaper, Wood admitted his role but said "My view is that these are serious matters and that they should be investigated. I don’t think I have done anything wrong at all in what I have done."[3]

Steele didn't make it up Russian intelligence did and he payed them for their disinformation, Steele is a smear merchant and legitimate target for extrajudicial execution.

Furthermore; every falsifiable point of the dossier has been debunked EG Michael Cohen has never even been to Prague, get fucking educated dipshit.

But the only credible alternative is not PraiseKok's ludicrous claim. Rather, it's that Steele was systematically duped by a Russian disinformation operation. If so, what might their motives have been?

I already told you why, to influence US politics and undermine faith in our democracy the same as they have done in the Ukraine and Georgia.
