Police have identified the shooter in the August 1, 2026, Twin Falls, Idaho In-N-Out shooting as 24-year-old Chad Williams.
He died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound after the attack (in which three people were killed and seven injured). An off-duty state trooper and a private citizen returned fire and helped stop further casualties
Investigators say he acted alone; motive is still under investigation.
