Homosexual Victims of Nazi Persecution

Homosexuals in the camps suffered an unusual degree of cruelty by their captors, including being used as target practice on shooting ranges.Homosexuals were additionally used as the subjects for Nazi medical experiments as scientists tried to find a "cure" for homosexuality.

Around 90,000 men were arrested for homosexual activity between 1937 and 1939. Between 5,000 and 15,000 were imprisoned in concentration camps.

It is unknown how many perished, but one leading scholar, Ruediger Lautmann, believes the death rate may have been as high as 60 percent.

Many survivors testified that men who wore the homosexual symbol of a pink triangle were often treated particularly severely by guards and other inmates because of widespread prejudice against homosexuals. Many were subject to physical and sexual abuse.

After the outbreak of war, persecution increased. From 1942, judges and SS camp officials had the right to order castration of imprisoned homosexuals without their consent. Beginning in 1943, homosexuals were among concentration camp prisoners killed as part of an SS-sponsored ‘extermination through work’ programme.

The Jehovahs Witnesses – Victims of the German Genocide – the forgotten

An estimated 1,000 German Jehovah’s Witnesses died or were murdered in concentration camps and prisons during the Nazi era, as did 400 Witnesses from other countries, including about 90 Austrians and 120 Dutch persons. (The non-German Jehovah’s Witnesses suffered a considerably higher percentage of deaths than their German co-religionists.) In addition, at least 273 Jehovah’s Witnesses were sentenced to death by military courts for refusing military service were executed.

The Holocaust’s forgotten black victims – the ‘Rhineland Bastards’

The programme began in 1937, when local officials were asked to report on all “Rhineland Bastards” under their jurisdiction.

All together, some 400 children of mixed parentage were arrested and sterilised. The Nazis went to great lengths to conceal their sterilisation and abortion programme.

What happened to these Afro-Germans is very complex – their experiences were not uniform. Some of these children were subjected to medical experiments and others mysteriously “disappeared”.

As soon as the Nazis rose to power, they began targeting communists, both inside and outside Germany. In 1933, the first concentration camp opened at Dachau to hold political prisoners. The first prisoners were all communists. Later in 1933 the Nazis banned all political parties. They intensified the targeting of Communists, Social Democrats, and trade unionists. As early as 1933—before the Nazi regime had made any significant moves against Jews or the disabled—German Communists were detained in mass arrests and tortured. Once the war began, the Commissar Order demonstrated the depth of Nazi fear and hatred of communism. Issued in June 1941, the Commissar Order directed German soldiers to “shoot on principle” all Soviet commissars (Soviet Communist Party officials) and POWs, in violation of international law.3

Priests and Pastors Died for Their Beliefs

Hitler wanted to conquer all of Europe and create a new religion based on worship of the Nazi ideology. Since Catholic priests and Christian pastors were often influential leaders in their community, they were sought out by the Nazis. Thousands of Catholic priests and Christian pastors were forced into concentration camps. A special barracks was set up at Dachau, the camp near Munich, Germany, for clergymen. A few survived; some were executed, but most were allowed to die slowly of starvation or disease.
 
Political dissidents, trade unionists, and Social Democrats were among the first to be arrested and incarcerated in concentration camps.

In pursuit of Lebensraum (“living space”), Germany sought systematically to destroy Polish society and nationhood. The Nazis killed Polish priests and politicians, decimated the Polish leadership, and kidnapped the children of the Polish elite, who were raised as “voluntary Aryans” by their new German “parents.” Many Poles were also forced to perform hard labor on survival diets, were deprived of property and uprooted, and were interned in concentration camps.

Time and again, he has encountered "widespread ignorance, regardless of a person's level of education or party membership, of what the German occupation actually meant for the everyday life of Poland's civilian population and citizens of other Eastern European countries, even down to the last cruel consequence of the occupation — death."

His contacts in Poland, "where the German occupation's victims are literally found in every family," have been "deeply disappointed, often even bitter" about it. Böhler said he understands the Poles' desire "to awaken this memory and keep it alive."

The difficulty with all the figures is that they've got mixed up with justifications of that imitation of the Third Reich, 'Israel'. Jewish people were the nazis favourite victims, but they were happy to murder anyone to save capitalism or, indeed. just for the hell of it! Like Trump, they were busy denying German defeat.
