There is no point in arguing with computer programs.

If all good thinking minds did it my way, the BS talkers would be marginalized and nobody that mattered would even open their posts. You replied to me and carried on about someone I have zero interest in. I have already heard enough out of people like that to last more than a lifetime. Like Micawber says, I already know / can predict everything they are going to say, so there is no point in putting up with them. Heard it all before. They can't get past their anger. It is a waste of my time which I would prefer to be spent conversing with people who can respectfully communicate a thought like two functional citizens of a great nation, sharing different ideas on how we the people run our nation.

I have no reply about the specific individual you wanted to talk about so I reverted to a general macroscopic view of what's really going on in the conversation.

It's like: don't sweat the small stuff, and everything is small stuff.

Where's the substance?

I want to talk about ideas or current events.

If everyone ignores them they are wasting their time.

I lead by example.

You reply to them, it sets them up to engage further. There is nothing to be gained. You can spend all day doing around and around with them. Hey, you do. I have better things to do with my time. When I come in here I want to filter all of that BS out and just get to the essence of actual functional conversations, an exchange of ideas and thoughts. JPP is not a fulfilling life. It is a pastime, a break, a diversion from real life. Vision, mental acuity and posture do not like spending too much time on a computer. It's not healthy.

Such irresponsibility needs to be dealt with through legislation.

It should be a crime to knowingly engage in social contact if one has knowledge that they carry the disease.

Democrats have work to do.

We should consider mandatory testing and repercussions for disregarding the health of others.

Not true. I engaged in those threads when I was around. I just don't spend all day here.

If we protect the right to vote, and impress upon the many potential Democrat posters the importance of doing so, we can displace the Republicans who are trying to take away voting rights.

We need to vote them out.

Get RID of all these shallow Republicans who are only concerned with going after the hate and anger votes of the poorly informed, misinformed and dis informed.

I'm here for the same reason. To prepare for the banal and stupid arguments I will hear in real life. I research every claim they make. In almost every case, they are lying. That's handy information to have when one of these morons starts shooting off their mouth. The problem is that most of them are trolls. They don't really advance any argument, they just call you gay. Yawn.

Yep. And that's why, unlike the scold Poli, I do not put everyone who disagrees with me on ignore, only the vile and worthless ones. If you read the nonsense the Reichwing is promoting here, like you said you have the opportunity to research the b.s. and debunk it when you encounter it in real life. For my part, I am invested in debunking health and medical misinformation and trying to provide the facts so that those reading my words will be informed, not misinformed.

Your policy works for you; mine works for me. Using a particular individual as an example of the misinformation and b.s. out there is what I did in my reply to you. If you prefer your bubble, that's nice. I don't. And that's fine too. There is no "exchange of ideas" when you refuse to see what the other side is saying. And scolding those on your own side for not being like you helps nothing.

No, I was on a different site then but you've been engaging in the same argument all the years I've been here. And it's a good cause. The TEA party is based on a falsehood. Taxes on the rich have actually fallen, not risen. The USA govt does not collect enough taxes. That's why debt continues to rise.
