Do you know what apprehensions mean?I'll start with this:
If Bribem deported a total of 3.4 million, and roughly 2 million + were crossing illegally into the US, then over a million new illegal entries per year occurred under Autopen with less than half the illegal entries being deported. And, those are just the ones that were caught.

Total number stopped at the border and in Border Patrol custody. The number deported =/= the number apprehended necessarily. During Autopen's term, the majority of illegal entries apprehended were released into the US while only a minority were deported. The total entries were so high that the number deported was still huge.
That was because of Bribem's open border policies in practice if not in word.
