You are trying to re-write the underlying reason Trump, the Proud Boys and Oath keepers whipped up the crowd into attacking the police so they could incite the rest of the mob to enter the Capital.

That was an organized attempt to try and disrupt and not allow the vote count to happen on that day so that it would miss certification and force the issue to the Supreme Court where there is only one singular remedy in the Constitution, when Congress cannot certify the vote on time, FOR ANY REASON, which is the Contingent Cote by Congress. A vote the Republicans would win and then get to appoint the next POTUS.

And before you lie again to deny it, know that Roger Stone did something very similar in Bush V Gore prompting the Brookes Brothers Riots to stop the count in Florida, force the issue to the SC, were the SC then gave the win to Bush, when Gore would have won, if Stone did not trigger that riot and stop that count.

You admitted the lie trying to call it a simply a 'mistake'.

Getting congress, today, to do anything is nearly impossible. It doesn't matter what party is in charge either, Congress is dysfunctional.
 
I wouldn't be surprised to see the JPP left celebrate some kids draping the White House fence with toilet paper as some king of meaningful historic event.
