President Donald Trump has gradually increased the severity of the damage he claims vandals caused to the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool—but the pool was drained again this week, and photos and video of the empty basin do not appear to show any gashes in the liner to support Trump’s claims.

I think the damage is pretty clear actually...

Those are clearly tire tracks on what is a still setting and binding coating and anyone who has ever put down such a coating, flooring or other such surface that has to bond to the below surface KNOWS you cannot disturb it during the period it is setting or you can create air pockets or lift that will make the surface separate after.

Not sure what is going on but I saw a claim on X that the blue paint has been taken off.....there will be another try.

So this is an instance of incompetence paying off big time as you get to do the same work twice via no bid contract and when they award you that work again saying "you did a great job", that is the Trump admin admitting the kickbacks to the Trump family were received and they can do it again.
