Well, you probably noticed that the word "politics" is in the very name of this forum, right? lol
There are lots of subforums for non-political stuff, plus a large chit-chat thread purporting to portray me as "nice." Don't fall of that title.
There's a music thread, recipe thread, occasional sports threads, religion forum, conspiracy theory forum. There are several members here who much prefer to gossip about other members rather than discuss politics. I don't know if you're into gossip or not. When you don't know the people yet, gossiping isn't much fun.

I will look for alternative threads because politics makes me feel ill.
Also, I don't like religion discussions, they end up badly as well.
Things we were taught as kids never to discuss: Religion. Politics. Money. Sex.
I guess we can talk about lawn care products. That's always exciting. lol

There's alot to talk about besides politics and religjon.
Money is okay ......like investing ...... discussions about sex is okay for some, but generally not for me.
BTW, I already did acknowledge that I am Jewish. I even had a kosher cut.
I see that someone is disputing as to whether @Guno צְבִי is Jewish.
I don't know why he is not taken at his word but I absolutely refuse to get involved in any political discussion.

Yes, @Guno צְבִי is Jewish. He is also a mixed race person, and he is solidly on the Left. Therefore, MAGATs must deny both of these aspects of who he is because they don't want to be accused of either racism or anti-Semitism when they viciously attack him, which happens daily. You seem familiar with the forum software. You might consider using the ignore feature if things get too rowdy for your tastes.
Over on the "Nice Thread" we do sometimes talk about politics but mostly it's about other stuff -- cars, food, cooking, pets, movies, music, books, hobbies, family, local events, weather, etc. We're mostly older retired folks with a couple of young 'uns scattered around. It's kind of a respite from the acid-throwing and poop-slinging elsewhere on the forum. lol
