Intelligent design, in some form, has traditionally been one of the arguments for the existence of God.

I think their best option is to simply use gaps in fossil record or cosmological paradox and such to degrade the perception of science.
The second they shove a deity in a gap it's a violation if presented in a public school.

The cool thing about the famous Kitzmiller case was the teachers who resigned invoked a statute that required that the not LIE to students.
Because their retarded school board wanted them to read a pro ID statement, they claimed they had to resign because they promised
not to lie to the kids.

We don't know what was there before matter. We could be one of an infinite number of universes. We simply do not know what happened before the Big Bang. There are many theories, by much smarter people than you young-earth creationists.
