Forget the total number of cases. That isn't important. Look at the DEATH rate. That is the most important thing. We are well behind Italy and China. In fact as a country we are in 6th place in deaths. Italy,Spain, China, Iran, France all in that order have more deaths. They all except China have much smaller populations than the United States. You can add the populations of Italy, Spain, Iran, and France together and they are still less than the population of the US. that would be 258 million to the US 320 million.

Italy ,Spain, France and Iran have a cumulative population of 258 million and have a total of 17,710 deaths to the US's 1301 deaths. And we have more than 62 million more people. So we are doing good because of Donald Trump's great leadership. !

Well, mostly because of our private healthcare system lol.

Which is holding up everywhere but in parts of NYC. WV has drive through testing so our case number is approaching 100. In fact, I have no doubt it will be over a hundred by the end of the day. Raleigh county officials made a statement over their one case of it lol.

This time of year tens of millions of people have the flu virus on a given day in this country and it’s only interesting to virologists under normal circumstances.

What’s going on at my place is people who think they might have COVID aren’t even allowed in the hospital. There are two large tents set up hundreds of feet away where they are triaged. Well, just tested unless they are having breathing issues. If not, they are sent home to self quarantine. If they do get admitted, they are sent home as soon as they recover. The idea being they don’t want them in the hospital.

And that would make it 315 cases per million. And rising fast. Poised to overtake both Iran and France. (We have bad leadership.)

Even those numbers may sound better than 1700 deaths.

Case count increase follows increased testing.

That doesn’t really tell us anything in terms of epidemiology. The only way out of it is with mass serum antibody testing. The statisticians can figure out how many of our 300 million need to be tested when the dust settles.

Democrats hoaxed it when they trotted out the 2 million dead prediction.

That’s a hoax.

That's not the hoax DT claimed.

He said the virus was a Democratic hoax.

Here are the numbers:

World wide death rate for resolved cases, where the patient either recovered or died: 17%

Estimated infection rate in the USA: 60% of the population.

Population of the USA 329M.

60% of 329M = 197M

17% of 197M = 33.5 Million.

Those are not pretty numbers, but they are real.

Obviously we don't want to see 33 million Americans die.

Considering that possibility makes 2 million look much better.
