If the Dems Win Big in the Midterms, How Much Can They Really Help Iran?

The IRGC is currently urging Americans to support the Dems in the midterms, in hopes that the Democrats can help them stay in power, and get some sort of a win out of this war.

But what can the Dems really do for Iran, even with control of both chambers? The president still has a veto over anything that comes out of congress, does he not?

I'm not 100% familiar with the power balance between the WH and congress. Can someone explain how much a Democrat win can/will really help Iran?

Congress has thwarted Trump before, regarding things like the border wall, repealing the ACA, etc, dummy.

I was just asking if the Dems could help the IRGC as much as they'd like to.
 
Who the hell ever said we want to help Iran? You MAGA put the ass in assumption. How about we help America and stay out of the Middle East for once? Biden had a deal in place where we didn't have to worry. Face it and suck on it; this Iran war is MAGA's doing and undoing.

The Dems ARE helping Iran.
Why would they be helping Iran and spreading Iranian propaganda if they didn't want to help Iran? You make no sense.

Dems call the war "illegal". Not just a few of them either... almost all of them. And the few Dems, like Fetterman, who support the war, are condemned for it.
Dems called the attack that killed the ayatollah and his supporters was illegal and unconstitutional.
Dems are trying to get shipments of weapons to Israel cut off.
The same people that changed the way Americans eat fast food just because of Cocaine Turtle, refuse to weigh in on the moral implications of sinking fucking oil tankers. How can the anti-plastic-straw crusaders be neutral towards the sinking of supertankers?
The Dems are literally going against the Iran war to get votes. They want to end the war just ot get fuel prices back down ffs. The same people who said that $6/gal was ok under Biden are acting like it's an atrocity now, and it is their main weapon in the midterm election.

That's total bullshit. Biden had no deal in place to do anything. He just let Iran attack US bases 180 times without retaliating.
The JCPOA was garbage... Iran started testing and mass-producing ballistic missiles before the ink was even dry. Literally 3 months after Res 2231 Iran was testing ballistic missiles. AND FYI YOU JUST TOLD THE EXACT TYPE OF LIE THAT DEMONRATS USE TO UNDERMINE THE WAR EFFORT... "It di'int nede to happin" - Dems

Do you have any evidence of Democrats supporting the war?

Let's assume for a moment that the Democrats do win the mid terms, do stop Trump from continuing conflict with Iran, and that Iran refuses to reopen the Strait of Hormuz until the US pays them say $500 billion in "reparations." To drive that point home, they attack and cripple a couple of merchant ships. What do the Democrats do at that point?

That way lies some pretty hard lessons for America.

Yeah Iran has been a terrorist state for 40+ years after the Islamic Revolution and the War with Iraq they fought (with America helping Iraq at the time), but ask yourself why the Islamic Revolution even happened in the first place.

It was decades of US-backed dictatorship from the Shah and grotesque oppression. The Shah was installed by the US and the Brits after they destroyed the democratically elected leader (Mossadegh) in '53.

America forgot their history but only for things >47 years. The Iranians probably haven't.

There's always important lessons to learn by going back far enough to see who did what.

The Mullahs are in power. They dint need help staying there. Trump balled ttat up when he botched the timing on his initial bombings, waiting to do so until after those mullahs had killed off most of those protesting against their retaining said power.

The old man is dead, his very pussed off crippled son is head mullah in charge, they are all ruling from deep underground and Trump missed the shot.

So why do they give a fig about who is running Congress in January. They are doing what they are doing regardless of who wins.
