If the Dems Win Big in the Midterms, How Much Can They Really Help Iran?

The IRGC is currently urging Americans to support the Dems in the midterms, in hopes that the Democrats can help them stay in power, and get some sort of a win out of this war.

But what can the Dems really do for Iran, even with control of both chambers? The president still has a veto over anything that comes out of congress, does he not?

I'm not 100% familiar with the power balance between the WH and congress. Can someone explain how much a Democrat win can/will really help Iran?

IT IS YOUR OPINION THAT FORMER PRESIDENT OBAMA INCITED RIOTS.
Wrong. And he didn't incite riots, he also stoked racial division and hatred.

THAT IS A FACT. You just don't like it, so you call it an opinion, yet there's nothing I said that is anything less than 100% true.

I posted the transcript of Obama's own speech.

I cut and pasted HIS OWN WORDS, unedited.

The date of M Brown's violent crime is known to all, video of it was released the day of the incident or maybe a day later, and the date of Obama's speech is written on the transcript that I linked here. It happened at least 6 weeks later.

So the fact remains that:
  1. Obama KNEW that M Brown was an actual violent criminal, whose fatal interaction with police occurred just moments after one of his violent crimes
  2. Despite the fact that Obama was fully aware that Brown was not merely some fine young gentleman who was shot for being "guilty of walking black", he chose to pretend that he was. It is a FACT that Obama KNEW that the police had every reason to be there to bring Brown in for questioning, and Obama also knew that Brown was moments removed from a fit of violent rage when the police got there.
  3. Obama chose to pretend that the "gentle giant, shot for walking black" narrative was the reality in that moment, and that was deceptive.
  4. Obama engaged in deception to further the narrative that Brown's shooting was almost certainly due to the police officer's racism. Barack Obama was aware that the narrative he was pushing was the cause of many, many violent riots.
It is a fact that Obama incited violent riots and pushed narratives that caused racial hatred and division.

Why do you think people call him the Divider-in-Chief?

If Obama didn't like the rioting, don't you think that he would have been more honest about the most likely causes of Brown's shooting? Why did Obama lie about what happened if he didn't like the rioting and the racial division?

You re not trying to debate any of the facts, or correct any errors in what I said. All you do is cry like a little girl about the fact that I'm calling Obama out for something that you know he did.

I ENJOY YOUR OPINIONS, W. THEY ARE VERY ENTERTAINING. BUT YOUR OPINIONS ARE NOTHING MORE THAN YOUR OPINIONS...AND ANYONE WITH A FUNCTIONING BRAIN WHO HAS LISTENED TO YOUR OPINIONS...TREATS THEM AS ENTERTAINMENT.

I HONESTLY HOPE YOU ENJOY YOUR "OPINIONS" AS MUCH AS I DO. LAUGHTER IS GOOD FOR YOUR HEALTH.

Obama, Michelle and Holder opened racial wounds that were healing and poured salt in them.

BARACK OBAMA MADE INFLAMMATORY STATEMENTS WHILE ALLUDING TO M BROWN'S SHOOTING, AND THOSE STATEMENTS WERE COMPLETELY OUT OF TOUCH WITH THE REALITY.

BARACK OBAMA DIDN'T JUST ACCIDENTALLY CONNECT THE SAME FAKE DOTS THAT CNN HAD BEEN FORCING TOGETHER FOR 6 WEEKS, IN ORDER TO INCITE VIOLENT RACE RIOTS...

WHATEVER FLAWS OBAMA HAS, STUPIDITY ISN'T ONE OF THEM.
HE MEANS EXACTLY WHAT HE SAYS, AND HE DID NOT MISTAKENLY BLAME M BROWN'S DEATH ON "BEING GUILTY OF WALKING BLACK", HE DID THAT INTENTIONALLY.

I UNDERSTAND THAT YOU MAY BE TOO MUCH OF A CULTIST TO ADMIT TO IT, BUT YOU KNOW IT'S TRUE.

Obama, Michelle and Holder opened racial wounds that were healing and poured salt in them.
And then during the Floyd disinformation and violent riots, that hideous bitch did her commencement address where she famously told young grads to "stay angry, focus your anger, and never let anyone tell you to not be angry"... Just what America needed during race riots.

Former president Barack Obama was essentially saying that there are times when some police officers in America treat black people unfairly simply because they are black. You seem to think that is an absurdity for some reason...so you quoted his speech and then made assertions about it that were themselves ABSURD. Those assertions were NOT facts, they were opinions.

You are not the brightest bulb on this JPP tree, Boy. But you seem to think you are. I am merely trying to dissuade you from that path because you are closer to being a moron than a genius. (And I am having a great deal of fun while doing so.)

Now, you can continue to entertain me with your bullshit...or you can shitcan this entire enterprise and move on to something in the shallow end of the pool.

Your choice, Boy. I will thoroughly enjoy whichever you choose.

Follow along...
  1. President Obama was talking about Michael Brown at a formal public event
  2. While he was speaking about Brown, he repeated the false narrative about Brown's shooting that the alt-left media and the Democrats were using to incite racial violence and riots ("Brown was shot for walking black")
  3. at no point during that speech, or at any time in his political career, did the Divider-in-Chief throw any water on that incendiary lie, despite the fact that there was video evidence which clearly showed that M Brown was a violent criminal, and that his tragic interaction with police occurred just moments after one of his violent episodes

If you only ever heard Obama's official version of M Brown's story, and never saw anything about it from any other source, you would believe that:
  1. Michael Brown was always a gentle giant, who was courteous and polite and would surely never do anything to offend anyone
  2. on the day of the shooting, the police had no reason whatsoever to interact with M Brown specifically
  3. M Brown was just being a calm, polite, model citizen, out walking casually with friends, who was suddenly shot from the window of a police car for no reason
  4. rampant police racism against blacks, which is considered normal in most police precincts throughout the country, was the only possible reason for the shooting

In short, Obama's false narrative was causing racial hatred & violence, and even widespread rioting, looting, burning and murder. He knew his narrative was false, and yet he kept spreading it for months.
The transcript I showed you was from MONTHS after the video of Brown's violent crime, and after an immense amount of violence and damage was already caused by it.

You seem to be having more trouble than usual in acknowledging that your guesses about former president Obama's motives...and what those supposed motives did or did not have on riots...ARE NOT FACTS.

They aren't, W. They are opinions and conjectures that seem to derive from what I see as your racist sensibilities.

But I am here for you, Boy. I will do my best to get you to see where you have gone off the tracks.

No need to thank me.

There are no "guesses about his motives".

He continuously pushed a false narrative about the reason for the shooting. And he wasn't "making an incorrect assumption", as you like to accuse me of, he was LYING about the reason for the police interacting with him on that day. Right, dumbfuck?

  1. The officer wasn't interacting with Brown "because Brown was a random black person and a lot of cops are racist", the officer was interacting with him "BECAUSE BROWN HAD JUST COMMITTED A VIOLENT CRIME, AND POLICE WERE DISPATCHED THERE". Obama knew that, and yet he never factored that into his narrative, EVER.
  2. The most likely reason that the interaction became violent wasn't "because cops are usually racist, and Brown was black", it was "BECAUSE BROWN HAD JUST COMMITTED A VIOLENT CRIME, AND HE WAS STILL IN A VIOLENT STATE OF MIND, AND COMPLETELY IRRATIONAL AND UNREASONABLE". Obama knew that, and yet he never factored that into his narrative, EVER.

Are you suggestiung that we both agree that - Obama pushed a false narrative that incited racial hatred & violence, and race riots -
but you want to believe that it's because he was stupid, and I am incorrect to assume that he did it intentionally?

Your final answer is: Obama was that stupid?

That is just you making the same moronic and incorrect assumptions and assertions about me and my motives that you made about former president Obama.

YOU ARE A MORON, BOY. I AM TRYING TO HELP YOU REALIZE THAT SO YOU CAN TAKE CORRECTIVE ACTION. YOU, HOWEVER, SEEM INTENT ON PROVING THAT I AM CORRECTLY ASSESSING YOU AS A MORON.

My final answer is
You don't have "an answer", you have a snotty comment.

I clearly showed you where Barack Obama pushed the false narrative about "guilty of walking black", and insinuating the Brown shooting only happened because he was black, now can you show me a time when Obama pointed out to Americans that Michael Brown had actually just committed a violent robbery before his interaction with the police officer, and that the reason Brown was approached by the officer is because he was walking down the middle of the street, blocking traffic?

I challenge you to find me a transcript or a video or some other 100% legitimate source that shows Barack Obama acknowledging that the police officer had an extremely legitimate reason for approaching Michael Brown.

I'm gonna declaratively state that Obama EXCLUSIVELY pushed the inflammatory and false narrative that there was never a good reason for the police even approaching Brown, because I have provided a solid proof of him doing that, and I leave it to you to prove that, at some point, Obama spoke honestly and intelligently about the circumstances surrounding Michael Brown's death.

Right now we know for a fact that, at times, Barack Obama pushed a false and inflammatory narrative which incited rioting, whether that was his intention or not.
So it's up to you to prove that, at other times, Barack Obama also told the basic, relevant, pertinent truths about the incident. Go find an example of Barack Obama telling Americans that the police officer had good reason to approach Brown, and that Brown was absolutely not a gentle giant, but was in fact just moments removed from a violent robbery.

Go, Ross. Try to prove something with facts instead of slander.

I KNOW RIGHT NOW, FOR A FACT, THAT YOU CANNOT FIND AN EXAMPLE OF BARACK SPEAKING ABOUT MICHAEL BROWN WITHOUT PUSHING HIS FALSE NARRATIVES.

I am not arguing that former president Barack Obama did not say all the things you claim he said. I am merely challenging your claim that your opinions about his motives for saying what he said...and your opinions about the results of what he said...ARE FACTS.

YOUR OPINIONS AS TO HIS INTENTIONS AND THE RESULTS OF THOSE SUPPOSED INTENTIONS ARE OPINIONS, NOT FACTS.

Your attempts to go all-out red herring deflection is noted. But you have got to do better. I am laughing at your amateurish attempts in this regard.

I am not arguing that former president Barack Obama did not say all the things you claim he said. I am merely challenging your claim that your opinions about his motives for saying what he said...and your opinions about the results of what he said...ARE FACTS.
Thank you for acknowledging that Barack Obama said all of those things.

Now, I ask you:
  1. does characterizing the shooting of M Brown as "the shooting of a universally beloved gentle giant, who was just out walking peacefully with his friends, when he was shot by police just because he was "guilty of being black", in a neighbourhood that's known for police racism, within a country that's currently known as a haven for police racism against blacks"
  2. while simultaneously ignoring the fact that
  3. A. Brown had just committed a violent robbery moments before his interaction with the police, and B., the officer initially approached Brown because he and his friends were walking down the middle of the street, blocking traffic
not seem to you like an overwhelmingly false narrative?

If you look at M Brown's shooting from an honest perspective, did the details surrounding his demise really warrant country-wide rioting, looting, and racial violence?

Is it true for me to say that:
  • telling the truth, even just the part that was verifiable and true on day 2* (Brown's crime, and his blocking of traffic to initiate his interaction) would never have caused rioting, but
  • the false narrative that Barack Obama gave his full-throated endorsement to is the only thing that was causing the rioting and looting?

*Facts known on day 2:
  • M Brown had just violently robbed a convenience store moments earlier, so the gentle giant narrative was entirely false
  • M Brown was probably still in an aggressive, violent state of mind from his robbery of moments before, and walking down the middle of the street, blocking traffic, seems like a solid indication that Brown was in a nasty mood when the officer came
  • The officer didn't "approach Brown just because he was 'walking black'", he did it because Brown was blocking traffic

@Ross Dolan :

Obama tirelessly stuck to a narrative that contained outright lies (some of which were known to be 100% false the very first time he told them), his narrative was irrationally tethered to the spectre of police racism, and omitted key truths, even though he knew that his support of that false narrative was causing widespread racial violence and division.
  1. Obama was smart enough to know that the real story - Brown just committed a violent robbery and then walked down the middle of the street, blocking traffic - would never have resulted in riots
  2. Obama was smart enough to know that his narrative, which was entirely false, was the only thing keeping the riots going
If Obama had a soul, and truly cared for America, and American lives, and American businesses, and American communities, and American families, then the Brown riots wouldn't have last one week.

That's why Barack Hussein Obama IS, and always will be, "The Divider-in-Chief".

@Ross Dolan

C'mon, Ross. You're acknowledging that Obama said things that were not true, went along with narratives about the police that fostered racial mistrust towards them for no good reason at all, and insinuated the worst about that incident at every turn, etc.

Literally every statement that Obama made about M Brown "erred towards mistrust and racial division", right?

Even if he just said "People in the black community have all had these run-ins with police. We all know the feeling of having police officers pay extra attention to you or stop you to ask you questions, just because of the colour of your skin", he was making those comments to throw shade at the police constantly.

Constant shade.

Constant mistrust.

Constantly acting as if there wasn't enough being done to keep the police off the backs of young black men.

And it was so bad that a lot of Democrat supporters were saying that "the police need to be defunded!" The Obama narrative was so pervasive and so entrenched in the minds of Democrats that it was almost a majority of them trying to rationalize defunding the police. As if that was ever a realistic sentiment.

At no point did Obama ever make an assumption or insinuation that people were wrong to characterize Brown as a gentle giant or the police officer/police in general as a racist.

So after all that, how can you possibly doubt that he was inciting the violence?

He knew that the violence was occurring. He knew that his own narrative was THE reason why it was occurring. He had to have known... He is anything but stupid. He is an extremely clever individual. And all the clever things that he says about M Brown et al work together to make black people angry. A lot of those things are untrue, and he NEVER touches on any of the facts that help to dissipate that anger.

Barack CLEARLY wants black people to be angry. Clearly.

Are you honestly just gonna run away now ffs?
