On the steps you can see the aluminum crutches used to attack the police officer whose helmet is barely visible at the bottom of the picture.
The man in the black sweatshirt with camouflage backpack has just thrown a Trump flag at officers.
The man in the khaki jacket has a pole of some kind that was used to attack the police officer.
The plastic shields were also used as weapons at various times.

Sure you can, if the MAGA militia had been successful, overtook the Capitol, stopped validation of the election, Donny was certainly ready to declare Martial Law just as Flynn and some of other wackos on the right were begging him to do and maintain himself in office.
