The question was whether they went around Congress. Clearly Obama and Biden did. They did not follow the CURRENT immigration laws at the time. Their job is to ENFORCE law as it is written, not how they wish it were written.

Seems like I know a little more about this than you do. DACA was an executive action that went around Congress. It is as simple as that. Whether you agree with it or not is besides the point. It was an authoritarian move outside his bounds as President of the United States. Congress sets immigration laws. Presidents do not.

It is that simple.

I think you are massively confused. The topic at hand which you jumped into was about whether Presidenta employed actions that weren’t authorized by Congress. DACA was an example. Bringing up whether Congress should have done it or not is changing the subject.
