What a bunch of wusses, the vast majority of the country hasn't even been on lock down for even two weeks now and we are hearing about long term social consequences, "alcohol/drug abuse, divorce, suicide etc." Half the Trumpkins on this forum live in gated communities, the most exciting part of their day is not having to piss every other hour, their lives haven't changed that much at all

Trump ain't easing restrictions until his medical staff says he can ease restrictions, and that ain't coming by Easter, his bloviating yesterday was intended to influence the stock market, do you think that even Trump is going to take the risk of opening everything up and then see the infection rate rise, it would be political suicide

Got yourself all in a lather for nothing, the vaccine has existed since November of 2009, comparing today to the "common flu" is absurd, anyone can go to the local drugstore and get the vaccine, not possible for the coronavirus

While you are on the topic, the H1N1 was easier to treat than the coronavirus given that we had previous experienced similar influenza viruses, no one has experienced anything resembling the coronavirus, it is basically a highly contagious viral pneumonia, and, at when H1N1 did hit, a percentage of the population already having antibiotics in their bodies from prior similar virus, nothing close exists for the coronavirus. Circumstance today and in 2009 aren't automatically similar

Sure he can, both of us pretty much can also, but as I said, even Trump ain't that adventurous, the move might make some of his base happy while the rest of America would question the wisdom, and if the virus continued to progress or got worse, Trump would be toast, he ain't taking that gamble

And the only thing Trump is thinking about is the Market and the economy, he don't give a rat's ass about Americans facing a health crisis, he has never shown empathy over anything, but rather Trump being Trump, how it is going to affect his reelection efforts, and his whole campaign is centered upon a healthy economy.

There is already treatment available for this virus. 99.999325% of the population is not infected. Most cases are no more severe than a cold.

It is not absurd. This flu season is milder than most, with fewer infections and fewer deaths.
Corona virus is not the disaster you Democrats want it to be.

What health crisis? 0.000325% of the population infected is not a health crisis. It is insignificant.
