Is there really any chance of us staying together as a country?

What do we have in common anymore? Right and left see things so radically different where is the compromise?

I think abortion is immoral, leftists think that killing the baby even outside the womb is OK and called choice.

I think we need a well functioning police force to keep us from drifting to anarchy, the left wants to tear it down

I think we need to enforce our borders, the left with help from some on the right want unchecked immigration

I think we should help those in need but not through the government. There isn't a basic human need the left doesn't want others to pay for

So where is the common ground? How do we stay together as a country? Personally I don't see it. So for me the question is do we do it the bloody way or do we part ways amicably?

I prefer the latter, but am prepared for the former

What a nonsensical clueless post and due to the misguided content, I do agree that the nation needs to be split in two. I have been all for that which is why I am an advocate for BLUEXIT.

Actually this current kerfuffle may be just what we need.
When the left gets a taste of what happens when the animals are left off the leash they may grow up fast.

The frigging exit, right minded people will help pay for your ticket out of America, Land of free, Home of the Brave, which is why Socialist leftist assholes need to leave, because they don't even like America, let alone love it. Get out, plenty of socialist shit holes to move to! Don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya!

We've always had MAJOR divisions. Once in awhile (like now), they really come to a head, but this isn't new.

What's happening now reminds me of the '60's. Very sharp divisions on the War, civil rights & all kinds of issues. People taking it to the streets in a big way; hippies trying to create their own utopia; the establishment digging in. The Dem convention in '68 was chaos.

The time since then has been pretty good for the most part. Ups & downs for sure, but a really good country to be in. We have a lot of stuff that we have in common, too.

We'll get past this like we always do. A good half of my best friends are conservatives - some of them pretty hardcore. We argue about politics, but go to ball games & drink a lot of beer & all that. On balance, the good far outweighs the bad.

I am not so sure

Two things are looming.

1) Chauvin trial conveniently scheduled for September. I believe they overcharged him on purpose to assure acquittal and new riots

2) Trump wins re-election and the democrats unleash ANTIFA

But still nobody can tell me what we all agree on

I see you missed the entire point.

Clearly you prove my point.

How do we stay together as a country? Clearly you don’t want to be governed based on my worldview nor I yours.

So what is the solution?

We've never all agreed on anything from 1776 till now.
The closest was freeing slaves if you only look at the citizens. The north didnt want it as it was more cheap labor like the Irish that they hated. The south largely didnt care as only the wealthy had them.

Cede LA to the Pacific ocean, Seattle, Detroit, Chicago to Canadia. Fence off NYC and let the gangs eradicate themselves. The rest will fall in line.

The solution begins with you and your kind ending the constant lies. Just look at your post, every item was a lie.

There is no common ground with mentally ill loons on the left. We just need to continue working hard to keep them as far away from political power as possible. Otherwise, all our cities will look like the ones controlled by these loons:

In all seriousness (OK, maybe a BIT joking.) we should send all liberal lunatics who hate our wonderful country to OTHER countries, say Venezuela or somewhere in the Middle East, where they wouldn't feel "oppressed". They would be welcomed by these countries with open arms, and most likely, open gunfire. So, in a nutshell, if you HATE this great country, GET THE FUCK OUT. Thank you.

You fucking retard; first you call this nonsensical and clueless with misguided content, then AGREE with the premise. :palm:

You should kill yourself. You're a nobody. You'll always be a nobody. You're a moron. You will always be a moron. No one will miss you. No one would care. The worlds collective IQ would increase and it would save the valuable oxygen you waste with every breath.

You cannot fix stupid. These leftist morons already have convinced themselves this is all Trump's fault. :palm:

The left will NEVER grow up. They have a child like belief system that embraces totalitarianism shutting down anything that might offend them or destroy their lie filled ideology.
