I was under the impression it was in the genes. Hitler rounded up all Jews, whether they were religious or not.

Do you know the geographic origins of your DNA?
 
I saw something recently saying the latest findings from the DNA of Ashkenazi Jews indicates from the father's side origins Mideast and the Levant and from the mother's side Southern Italy.

One thing for sure, recent DNA analysis disproved the conspiracy theory that there is a significant influence of Khazar in Ashhenazi's. That is a theory pushed by Jew haters.

As you can see in the intro thread @guno is attacking me -- unprovoked - me thinks he does protest too loud. He claims I'm not a Jew in such a fashion that I suspect he is a convert.

It's a religion. The Human Genome Project proved there's no such thing as different human "races". Race, like culture, is a social construct.

It's what my ancestors experienced, Pograms in Poland and Hitler's Nazi Germany. One needn't be an observant Jew to be rounded up. All your science is just wonderful but man is still in many ways worse than animals.

That was almost a hundred years ago. My ancestors were hunted by the Redcoats as being a subhuman species. People can be assholes but that doesn't change the facts about the Human Genome Project or that race and religion are social constructs.

If you and I were switched at birth, do you believe you'd grow up to be a middle-class Protestant or as a Jewish kid living among Protestants?

Sorry friend, the antisemitism unfolding now in the US and Europe proves to me that my father and uncles were correct. You can hide your Jewishness all you want, but one day the man will tap you on the back and tell you you're a Jew, and say, come with me, at gunpoint.

The fact you keep dodging the questions is insightful, however. To astute observers, what people say can be as revealing as what they refuse to say.
