I'm thinking his timing of going to war with Iran and how trump profited each Friday he said there was "deal coming" and then trump and his buddies cashed in on Kalshi.

How about trump offering "early information" about his Truth Social posts for $150,000/each?

What I'd really like congress to dig into - the financial ties that Jarod Kushner has to Saudi intelligence and whether they're really trying to come up with a peace deal.

I think the Dem's need to be super careful on this. we have seen already going back to Clinton and time and time again with Trump, what starts with initial reaction horror (Trump perfect call to Zelensky) quickly fades to a nothing burger, and ends up allowing the person to move past it and rehabilitate with voters unless you can follow it up with very real consequences.

The Dems have no real ability to follow up with any consequences so they need to pick their battles. I would go for Elon and Kushner and other outside corruption and keep that in the voters eye but i would only go after the deeper Trump corruption in 2028 with a dem Potus and his AG doing so thru Special Counsels. We might need 20 on Day 1.

The idea being the incoming POTUS saying 'The Trump admin has thrown everything we believed prior about what was legal or not into question and we are not required to test everything they did and bring them to court to get clear rules for all Potus, myself included, moving forward'.

Those 20 or so Special Counsels scour everything questionable thing this Trump admin and take them into courts and get rulings. Establish a clear set of rules and laws in all those areas. Otherwise future GOP POTUS will push back into Trump like abuse and a SC like this one will never find fault, but if a Dem one did, they would instantly find fault. That is why clear road rules need to be set.

In large part Trump was rehabilitated due to the investigations that went on too long and did not culminate in anything. We can blame that on Merrick Garland getting a late start but that is the point. You need to start when you know you can finish. When you can get a real result.

People do not care much, at all for Congress investigation SHOWS that are put on to partisan gamesmanship.

I can agree with a series of parallel investigations into Elon Musk, Kushner, etc, but do not go directly for Trump until you can actually put a bullet in him or at least make his SC save him from it. But make sure you can finish what you start.

Like i said, if we cannot finish it, then just going thru the motions is a mistake.

To impeach Trump again, for instance when you cannot convict and remove KNOWING it rehabs him and raises his stature from the dead point it is now with the public would be a huge mistake IMO.

I get Dems loved seeing Trump impeached prior and some say 'who cares it made it more popular and more electable... i got my hit of revenge' but i am not signing on to that. FINISH what you start has to be the view imo.
