Iran says Strait of Hormuz stays free for only 60 days — then come the 'service fees.'

According to a source inside Iran’s government that is being reported in many outlets, Fars News states that Iran will allow ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz free of charge for only 60 days, after which the country intends to provide security, maritime, environmental, and insurance services to crossing vessels and use the 'revenues' for its economic development. Yes, that sounds like a toll.

From here, it gets worse. Iran’s IRGC also reported that Iran will receive half of the $24 billion in frozen assets before any final negotiations take place during the 60-day window.

And that's assuming that Israel doesn't tank the deal before it's even signed.

Who is the great negotiator on the US side that is going to not let it slide?

We are already looking at a worse deal than what Iran offered in January before Trump decided that wasn't good enough and attacked Iran.
We don't even have a credible threat of military strikes anymore. Iran now knows it can withstand a 100 day war with the United States, and they saw Trump chicken out so many times on his empty threats that they undoubtedly believe Trump will not risk full scale war again.

We aren't looking at anything. We have a simple MOU for a 60 day negotiation. It's like you don't understand words and what they mean.

WSJ on Trump statement in interview...

Note, that in the rush to not have Iran walk away from the deal denying Trump any type of 'agreement' on his birthday the below is the reported terms that were agreed to by the US as the framework to advance to the next stage...

Again, as i have said prior what the US got was simply an agreement to outline terms of the upcoming MOU talks, and if they get agreement in the MOU talks on an 'agreed to both parties' as to what is in negotiations and what are red lines and not to be negotiated... THEN AND ONLY THEN, will they proceed to structured "DEAL' talks. Everything else is simply meetings to see if they can agree to agenda as the basis of the 'DEAL TALKS' to follow. Trump trying to label these as 'DEALS' is just nonsense.

Israel will not sit by if missiles are fired into it by Iran's proxies no matter who heads Israel, right center or left. Israel's existence is non negotiable

They haven't stopped shooting at Lebanon though.
And Iran will keep lobbing missiles at the Zionist Colony...my guys are generally calling this a de-escalation, which will likely be temporary.

As well that oil prices are delusional/manipulated ....big pain is coming.

It's amazing how much leftist discourse is just them pretending not to understand things, thus making discourse impossible.

Iran says lots of things most of which are not true.
