I believe it was one of these Muslim women, Reps. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) or Ilhan Omar (D-MN) who said that returning ISIS members should be treated gently.

Both are Democrats.

Crucifixion of children and burning people alive in a cage does not merit "gentle treatment."

Living with that kind of cynicism, spite, and resentment will take years off your life, affect your health, not to mention poison your soul.

I personally would give this person the opportunity to make the case they have genuinely had a change of heart, and are genuinely remorseful for the hateful words they wrote on the interwebs. If she directly participated or abetted any murders or terrorist attacks, she obviously should face the wrath of criminal justice. But I believe redemption is a real thing, and all genuinely remorseful humans should be allowed a shot at redemption.

Get yourself up to speed on John Walker Lindh. If he was allowed back into the country to face justice, the same should apply to Muthana.

In fact, Lindh's release date from prison is set for May of this year.
