If the thread author wanted to go "big" on COVID relief, it is really weird that he wasn't expressing support for the huge COVID relief bills the House of Representatives passed 6 months ago.
WE know that because we get our information from various sources. We don't have our heads stuck in the Reichwing Bubble of Ignorance.

Yes. Members of Congress often vote for or against things when they know their vote will make no difference. Ron Paul used to always vote against spending bills. He always knew they would pass and he made sure they included projects for his district.
I find it interesting that you don't find it interesting that Trump wants civil war and martial law.
Most bills don't pass both Houses without any changes. That's why there are reconciliation committees. The problem is not that it would not pass the Senate. The problem is that McConnell refused to have it CONSIDERED by the Senate. The Senate could have and should have passed a Covid relief bill before this week. There is no excuse why they didn't.
Thanks for supporting the point I was making to the thread author. Of the two political parties in Congress, only one was trying to go "big" on COVID relief. The other party was not even willing to consider going huge.
