This happened Monday, June 8, 2026 ~7:30 a.m. on Davida Road in North Knoxville, TN.
The victim told police he was setting up a roadblock for construction work at the intersection when 45-year-old Johnathan Davis drove toward the roadblock.
The victim said he yelled at Davis to stop. Davis got out of his vehicle and got into an argument with the victim. During the argument, Davis hit him in the face.
The man was publicly identified in police reports as 45-year-old Johnathan Davis. Dashcam footage captured it; but Davis denied hitting him.)
After police reviewed the evidence, Davis was taken into custody for assault at his home.
