Yes, brother. The Northern Neck Regional Jail in Warsaw, Virginia is no picnic. Word has it that it is infested with cockroaches, and the thread count on the sheets is reportedly primitively very low as well.
Legal experts agree that Manafart is likely to be uncomfortably incarcerated there until at least September.

Of course he could get out tomorrow if he just agrees to come clean with Mueller, about his Russian conspiracy during the Trump campaign.

Have you heard or read the transcripts from the court when the judge decided to jail him? He was jailed to prevent him from witness tampering.
 
Why hasn’t Manafort flipped?

George Papadopoulos flipped. Michael Flynn flipped. Rick Gates flipped. Michael Cohen may be preparing to flip.

But Manafort has refused to do so. Even though he’s facing 25 charges that could easily put him in prison for the rest of his life — and even though the evidence for many if not most of these charges appears quite strong — he’s pleaded not guilty to everything, and has given no public indication he’s considering flipping.

Why? Again, one possible explanation is he just has nothing to flip with. Either he wasn’t involved in collusion or he has nothing on Trump or anybody else Mueller cares about. Alternatively, maybe Manafort is just holding out hope that he can beat the charges.

A darker possibility is that, given an apparent series of Russia-linked assassinations in the West, Manafort fears violent reprisals against himself or his family should he give information implicating Russians.

Others believe Manafort is just holding out for Trump to pardon him. The New York Times has reported that Trump’s lawyer John Dowd discussed a possible presidential pardon with Manafort’s lawyer last year, and Rudy Giuliani floated the idea again this Friday.

Interesting point about Manafort possibly fearing Russian retribution. Never thought about that.

But flipping, in of itself, doesn’t mean much. The only thing it means for sure is the defendant is willing to cooperate. If I’m Gates for example, why wouldn’t I flip? It doesn’t mean I have anything that would help them.

All of this flipping also indicates Mullet most likely doesn’t have direct evidence—so he’s been force to resort to trying to flip people. Ideally, Mullet wouldn’t have to do it because there’s always the risk the flippers will compose instead of sing and they wouldn’t know it until it was too late.
 
It's no secret prosecutors will offer "deals" to "flippers" for lies that will incriminate those they wish to prosecute. It's how they convince grand juries to hand down indictments.

Mueller lobbied for Ukrainians , not Russians -although I'm sure there was an oligarch in the pile as well

NO PROSECUTOR WILL EVER OFFER THE KINDS OF THINGS OFFERED IN A DEAL SUCH AS WE HAVE WITNESSED...WITHOUT KNOWING WHAT THE GUY BEING OFFERED THE DEAL HAS!

EVER!

George Papadopoulos, Michael Flynn, Steve Bannon, and Rick Gates were not offered deals without the prosecutors KNOWING the help they could get from their cooperation.


But continue to live in the fantasy world if it fits you...which, as a Trump supporter, it should.

I think Manafort is in prison for a long time.. Witness tampering really pisses off the judge. How many counts against Manafort? 25 or something horrendous?
