This school district is hardly the only one doing this sort of racist, hate baiting. Schools in New York, Illinois, and California have been moving this direction for years now.

That's a strawman argument and nothing more. CRT has little to do with abolition or slaveowners in the antebellum era. It is nothing but a strawman on your part to bring it up. CRT today is about segregating people by race into oppressors and oppressed in a twisted version of Marx using the concept of Intersectionality coupled to Critical Pedagogy / Critical Legal Theory.
