You don't need any shooting, the first time one of the violators lose their house via liability law because one of their guns was used in a shooting the rest will come around

And as far as your "hundreds of thousands," no one is worried about it, as I've noted before, a lot of gun huggers think of themselves as Chuck Norris when Barney Fife is more appropriate
