Judges are involved in cases with refined elements and references to enacted laws by elected lawmakers voted for by YOU.
They are not issuing edicts and mass injunctions affecting you in advance beyond the scope of the cases before them affecting the litigants.
The outward effect is that which derives from the notice their actions provide people on how their behavior will be viewed and acted upon by the group

The court is not overstepping its bounds at all, IMO with Marbury. If its job is not interpreting Congresses law, then what is it?
Are they telling the congress what words to pen? Are they telling the potus he can't veto? No. Did they ever declare a war? Did they ever submit a Bill?
In some metaphysical sense, yes, they are "redrafting" enacted laws but only in the sense that the common law provides. When I write a sentence, I can't anticipate how it will be read,
but read it will be. And the reader decides what I meant. Are they breaking the law in this exercise of divining my intention and expressing their reasoning from my imperfect words? Did that injure the author?

The 18-state complaint from yesterday is either understood to be DOA or a full on coup. If the former, then the complainants are just trying to suck Trump's ass, which would be nothing new. It would seem to be a combination of wanting pardons and Trump PAC money and to avoid his Twitter tirades. If they actually think they have a chance of winning, then they're either hoping to install Trump as the permanent ruler or understand that the precedent will allow Democrats to sue red states to overturn their elections in the future. The Trump presidency was the biggest mistake the Republican has made in my lifetime; and I'm including GWB's wars.

I grew up in Podunk Illinois with a high school population of 124 people a year, on average. My graduating class was 52 people. My schooling was above average, but I didn't learn real life things, like the constitution, until I was discharged from the Corps. Because, like a whole lot of apathetic fucks on this board and in the country, I expected others to tell me what it means..........HUGE mistake on my part. Now, I know better and you should too.
