What we know Earl, is the mother has had no relationship with her son and daughter since she went on the run with the man both kids said sexually abused them, and the social services and local D.A did examinations and agreed with.
So her claim of 'lying' is her insistence that her kids were lying about the man she chose over her kids, and who the social services and D.A say did abuse them, after investigating.
The main point here though is how disgusting it is, as an outsider (Vivek) to weaponize this as if he knows the mother is the righteous one here, when he does not.
