Trump restricted travel from China at the start. Then, he:
- ignored and downplayed the virus for an entire month (thoughout February) - 15 to zero, it will just disappear, etc.
- supported shutdowns for a short period, but confused people with tweets like "Liberate Michigan!"
- Mocked masks and created a whole political movement decrying them as infringements on liberty and "PC"
- By sending mixed messages on shutdowns & masks, he enabled the spread we're seeing now, which will set the economy back. We are one of the worst nations in the world when it comes to containing the spread.

And is that last part a surprise? We need a leader who is out there every day, urging Americans to: wash hands, distance, wear masks. And we need a leader who will do a moon shot on testing & tracing, instead of claiming that testing a small % of Americans is a "huge" number.

Trump has failed in his response to COVID. The results speak for themselves. Sadly, it will likely impact the economy much more than you think.
 
Anyone who seriously thinks Trump has been a "leader" during this unprecedented crisis needs a primer on basic leadership.

The job figures are yoked to the opening of businesses. They were opened and of course, some people went back to work. Now the Corona spikes are closing up businesses again. The restriction in China is of meme status. When over 40.000 people flew into 17 American cities after the so-called shut down, you can see it is meaningless. And of course, others just flew into Europe and caught a flight from there, where they flew here unchecked. Trump talks like it as a great act. It was like most of Trump's talk, hollow.
