JPP Fantasy Football - Just Plain Politics, The Legend!

Headline: Travis Kelce Hit Hard by Illegal Scammer

Me: Did the refs throw a flag for targeting?

Still got it over here.

So, @IBDaMann comes in as a rookie - and kicks my veteran ass, scoring what Yahoo called "The biggest blowout of the week!". Congrats, Man!
What's interesting is that I had to be informed as to my team's performance because I couldn't figure it out. I realized on Thursday that the team winning on which my player played didn't necessarily help me.

Anyway, good game, well played, ... do we match up again or is it only one time per team?

We're up again in Wk 8!

@IBDaMann : To monitor your teams performance during the week, you go to "matchups" and find our match:

You can see not only our matchup but all others from here. It's "live" so you can see during games your players' scores changing in real time.

@Nomad - You have WR Mike Evans on the bench. He's a baller. My instinc would be to put him in the WR and bench Tee Higgins. Don't do it unless you want to - lets just see if I'm right. Remember - I was the biggest loser last week - so consider the source :)

Alright, Nomad. This is what happens sometimes in FF! You have a poop week one week and they the next week some of your players have record nights. It's going to happen to you, too, @Nomad - last night's game was a shootout. Also, did you see that score your WR Amon Ra St. Brown put up? You're still in good shape for the playoffs!

Alright, my friends - here's how things go sometimes. The good news: All of us are in great shape for the playoffs!

The bad news: Even though I won, both one of my backup QB's and one of my starting WR's went down, injured last night. I almost have more people on my IR than on the bench!

@Phantasmal - You put up 108 points - which can be a winning score were it not for huge performances from your opponent's players had breakout nights, like JSN - who put up 38 points! This is the kind of seasaw weeks we're all having!

Also, DJ Moore has negative points? I've never seen that happen!

@Life is Golden - there is no shame in how you did - all of your players just had terrible games. Joe Burrow should always be in the late 20's, early 30's for points - and Justin Jefferson? 7 points? No way. So this is just an example of how a "perfect storm" of poor player performances.

@IBDaMann - One of your major issues was Zay Flowers is out. Other issue - just like poor LIG - your team just had a terrible week except for McCaffery and Walker. Jordon love is a baller and only turned in 13pts? Unusual - but this is the way FF goes!

@Nomad - basically 3 players carried me - Josh Allen, Jonathan Taylor and Dalton Kinkaid carried me.

One good thing - despite my nagging - you kept Evans on the bench last week and that was a great decision - he had a terrible week!

So, the bad news - I don't think Lurch is in a good position for the playoffs anymore :( Ok, now. Everyone together shed a tear for me, "awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww". Thanks guys -alright now - lets get into it - going into Monday night here's where we all stand:

Seattle Reign/Lurch - I'm getting shellacked - but

Now - there still is a path to victory for me - if my opponents Devonta Smith goes down with injury and Sequon Scores 77 points tonight - I'll win!

It's NOT impossible - it's just incredibly impossible :)
