I can see Epstein offing himself. First, he was essentially a sex offender. Sex offenders are not popular people in prison. Even criminals have standards. Next, just the shock of being in prison can bring on suicidal tendencies. So, it's very possible Epstein went over the edge and offed himself.
Both could be true. Epstein could have killed himself, but Barr/trump could have allowed it. It worked out for everyone... Except the victims and the American people... And well everyone other than the Epstein Class.

trump became the first president elect since the Civil War to refuse to meet with veterans groups. It was a real sign of disrespect, and not caring about veterans. he said it was OK, because he sent "Omarosa"(a reality TV star) in his place, and she was one of the best people. A few months later, trump blamed her for all that was wrong in his administration, and said she was terrible.
It is amazing how there is always someone else to blame for trump's failure.
trump's job is to put together a good team. If he has failed to do that, trump is a failure as a president.
