Yes. Mitch, being Head Republican Hypocrite (HRH), will do his best to jam it through before the Inauguration. They probably won't be able to do it before the election...and if they did, they could end up winning the battle but losing the war. After the election, Mitch would have little to lose. They will probably try to complete the confirmation process before the Senate adjourns the end of December.

They can speed up the process by nominating a woman so there are no women coming forward.
