Kavanaugh showed his true colors during his hearing and now isn't even honest enough to go away. He lied under oath several times as his school pals acknowledge. He is republican scotus material for sure. But face it folks the American scotus is only a tool for the rich and the corporations, they'll screw the little guy and many of the little guys will cheer, hate does that to a person.

If the implication was there, I do not see it. Let me state unequivocally...AN INVESTIGATION DID HAPPEN.

My argument is NOT that one did not happen...but that the one that happened was FAR from thorough.


If Kavanaugh were anything at all like he's been accused of the previous investigations would have revealed that and he wouldn't have been nominated.

Look...this seems to be a done deal...so none of this matters much.

BUT...my money would be on: He drank way too much in high school and college; he was a nasty drunk; he did the assault Ford accused him of. My guess is the assault was primarily to impress Judge...not to carry through with actual rape. He sounds like the kind of guy who would have been satisfied with a cheap feel...and the admiration of his friend.

The "investigation" should have been more thorough...and I suspect we will eventually find out that the FBI was told to keep hands off areas where they might actually find something.

i know, that's what I was saying. You're talking about the most recent one, the 7th one into Kavanaugh, the one that happened solely due to Ford and her 36 year old "assault". The one the previous investigations didn't find.

We will never know for sure...but we could have come closer if a reasonable investigation had taken place. If this were a charge against Obama or either of the Clintons...you can damn well bet they would have been MUCH more extensive.

The ONLY investigation into the current allegations was a four day one...a travesty.

But...elections have consequences...and we have savages in control of the plane.

Thing is, though...we are all on the same plane.

The left has gone into total meltdown over this nomination. The latest being protesters storm the Senate building is a perfect example. A bunch of stranger all suddenly decide to protest on the same day and time. It is clear that this "protest" was orchestrated lead and most likely funded by the Democrats. Now they are saying if nominated they will impeach him. It's going to be hard to do when they lose more Senate seats and most likely not take the House.

^ This here kind of puts it in perspective. I keep my finger on 'mute' a lot more these days. We have to remind ourselves of the century we're in. Every bit of all kinds of activity is available to us 24/7 now on TV, radio, internet. The media presents the activity in one small area. A crowd might only be a few hundred or even 1 or 2 thousand, but we know it gets magnified in our minds because of mics, megaphones and cameras and it all seems larger than life. But, it's not.
There's an entire nation of people who keep on with their everyday "real" life not screeching hate, lies, victimhood, men vs women crappola and being miserable. They're busy making a living, loving their families and enjoy living in peace with each other.
