correct . it was an international executive agreement -not a treaty. Iran wasnt allowing inspections full access as well as regional hegemony and ballistic missile dvelopment

Good point. I have never seen the advantage of sanctions. Countries we have maintained friendly relations with seemed to moderate more than than those we have labeled enemies. Compare Iran, North Korea, and Cuba with the former Soviet Union, China, and (eventually) Vietnam.

Sanctions have a place, but are overused and misused IMO. Agreed it’s confusing bullshit to hate Cuba while being in debt to China, have joint space operations Russia and trade with Vietnam.

this really is funny.......the MAGA's have been slamming ME immigrants right along with Mexican immigrants for decades, suddenly they're in love with hunreds of thousands Afhanis, people born and raised in a worldwide terrorist hot spot who came to Jesus and here they are..........painted into a corner yet again.......and it begs the question, how many Mexican terrorists on record?
