Let's give Trump what he wants.... in person voting.

Funny how you don't apply that same standard to 2nd Amendment rights.

Such bullshit.

Funny how you do

Such bullshit

Do you believe EVERY right should be absolute? Why do you want to pick and choose?

If you agree to eliminating every gun control law, I will relent on voting. Deal? Compromise?

You can never call for another gun law again no matter how many kids get killed. Deal?

That's a moronic argument even for you.

The right to vote is not intertwined with a public safety concern. Nobody has ever used their vote to murder someone.

Equally, if not more importantly, the right to vote is considered to be such a basic, fundamental right in a free society, it is addressed several times throughout the Constitution, whereas the right to bear arms is mentioned only once.

The fact that you would try to conflate the two goes directly to how low the level of intellectual honesty is down in the contard right-wing sewer where you cretins dwell with your fellow rats and cockroaches.

The right to vote is the embodiment of freedom and choice. The right to own a gun is all too often, the equivalent of the right to be a violent asshole and deprive others of their rights, their property and their lives.

You do know that you were the first one to bring up the 2nd Amendment.

Either all rights are absolute or they aren’t.

You seem to want to pick and choose.

So since you believe that rights are not absolute then we will continue to push common sense voters reform that a majority of Americans support such as voter ID. Such a simple thing for people to prove who they are yet you oppose it. Seems odd

But you are dismissed now

There were no rapid fire, high capacity, assault weapons in existence back when the Constitution was written.

Guns have evolved into something completely different than what they were at the time when owning them was declared to be a basic American right. Therefore, the modern re-interpretation of and new restrictions on the 2nd Amendment are an absolute necessity for the safety and well being of the public.

Voting rights are not affected by or in any way related to a change or advancement in technology over three centuries, other than that it has actually become more difficult to commit voter fraud than it was in the early days of our nation.

IOW, our side is trying to extend more freedom of choice to more people while making society safer.

Your side is trying to restrict freedom of choice by make voting accessible to fewer people for your own selfish political ends while making society more dangerous.

Good (us) vs evil (you).

You can spin all you want. I do like how you paint yourself as some righteous person being “good”. Should I start calling you Stuart Smalley now

I don't "paint" myself as anything.

I'm talking about one side of American political ideology vs another.

Your side represents greed, selfishness, dishonesty and evil.

My side represents what the founding fathers envisioned for this country.

You want to continue allowing guns to flourish in society even though we all know damned well that too many people use them to commit violent crimes with. Then you try to make it more difficult and in some cases, impossible, for some people who might vote for candidates who don't agree with you, to cast their legally entitled vote.

Your side are scumbags by definition.

I don't need to "paint" myself as anything.

You and your ilk have painted yourselves with vile, nasty shit.
