Depressing, as I actually just joined it.

Yes, political forums for the most part have all but died out. They were killed by social media and sites like Reddit. I've always held the belief that they'd make a come back though because people are eventually going to get tired of the big corporate owners that micromanage everything. Forums like this tend to be owned by political junkies, loosely managed, and not full of ads. They offer a lot benefits people have forgotten.

Given the penchant of many to just tag along after their chosen targets and snipe at them, I am sorry that I have to agree with you. There are also a couple of childish puds who put "groans" on others' posts but don't bother with rebuttal because apparently that's just too hard.

Actually political forums are few and far between anymore. Debatepolitcs.com is one that nicely moderated and unbiased ones but it's a lot to keep up with.

Here is the fact! Early next week Donald Trump will become only the 3rd president ever in American History to be impeached!

This is what children will be learning in school for the remainder of American History.

Donald Trump cheats in the election, got caught,and was impeached for it!

Now how the Senate reacts to this, or how Donald Trump reacts to this is also heading into our history books.

Let's hope for their sake, that they will all do the right thing, or history is not going to be very fair to them.

Facebook liberals have a reputation for banning friends that disagree with them on any political issue.

I see lots of the libs whining about anonymity, ... yet their Dem Media is the official source of official anonymous sources.

I really cannot comment about Facebook, Dog. I joined a while back, but have only visited my home page twice. Not my cup of tea.

In any case, I am not whining about anonymity. I am calling attention to anonymity being part of the problem with the forums being filled with some of the poster to poster bile...especially the racist and childish taunt stuff.

I have a FB account with a fake name that I created to contact an old friend a few times. I tried Twitter very briefly. Neither are appealing to me, yet. I know of posters on forums like Ebay & Etsy that had their businesses , their livelihoods, attacked due to a lack of anonymity on those boards.

Yeah, people post like they are still yelling at the television set, lol.

It would be nice if certain posters could at least include an argument along with the insults. :thup:

I have friends and peers here I appreciate reading, and I attempt to disregard and scroll past the posters who are poorly educated or have an affinity for gossip, innuendo, libel, bigotry, petty grievances.

Clearly I don't come here much anymore. Mostly because I am trying to focus on bringing my passion about the world in different forms other than word vomiting.
