Fine. Then the entire record gets examined, not merely the flattering portions he expected future biographers to quote.

He may have received immunity from prosecution, but he did not receive immunity from his own words. You do not get to curate yourself into history as the unquestioned hero while demanding that everyone ignore the contemporaneous notes that complicate the story.

Fauci wanted his time in the spotlight preserved. He gets his wish.
