As long as Hamas continues to exist there's no hope for it.

Kerry's speech yesterday was all about what Israel needs to do with only some vague references to suicide bombing, building testimonies to suicide bombers and etc, by the Palestinians. If I were Netanyahu I'd be like WTF?

IMO, Israel is being gracious just in negotiating with them. Any other country would have waged full scale war on a neighboring entity that regularly targeted their citizens.

Israel apparently, is supposed to behave differently.

i don't even think there were any negotiations. Hamas is a privledged bunch of terrorists masquerading as representing the Palestinians.

Israel isn't without blame here either. But Kerry speech was so one sided as to be worthless.
The entire thing is an Obama dog and pony show. 21 more days till he's off the stage.

The walls are sadly effective in stopping terrorism - we give them grief about that too.

The negotiations should be upto the parties involved -not the UN resolutions -not Kerry's bleating.
But like I said it's all meaningless at this point

I didn't mean to imply Israel is blameless.

But the moral equation is easy to solve because it's so one-sided: there's an element on the Palestinian side that will settle for nothing short of Jewish genocide.

Israel can't hang with that. Whatever they've done wrong, it's outweighed by Hamas' desire for Israel's destruction.
