Actually, they have a long track record of getting fucked over in trade and such by their former colonizers., which contributes greatly to things. This is why the MSM grudgingly acknowledges how Cuba has survived despite decades of global economic isolation, or why France got the boot from Burkina Faso. Or the real reason why Ghaddafi was assassinated. And don't get me started on Haiti.
Our country has no problem with supporting despots and dictators so long as we get a cut or have military access.

My 2026 voting policy is:
- Congress - I'm voting against every Republican I can.
- State and local
- I will vote for Republicans unless they are election deniers/MAGA.... basically the same thing.
- I will only vote Dem if it is a good candidate, running against a Republican election denier/MAGA
- I already know I'm not voting for the Democrat or Republican in the governors race
