Marjorie “Karen” Green, and personal responsibility

“ I was allowed to believe.“ The party of “personal responsibility “ accepted Marjorie Taylor Green’s pretend apology when she complained that she was “allowed to believe“ the falsities of Q anon. How could it possibly be her fault when she was “allowed to believe it“. You people will excuse any level of responsibility. You pretend you want everyone who is a minority to be responsible for themselves, but excuse everything any Republican does. You want free speech, but rail against anyone being held accountable for what they say.

Free speech comes with accountability for what you say. Stop whining when there are repercussions for saying untrue and damaging things.

The right only expects everyone else to have personal responsibility, it is part of their double standard when it applies to life and politics.
AS for Greene and her so-called apology, as with criminals that supposedly apologize for their crime for more lenient treatment, they will often use the word Regret, but almost always forget to use the words I Am Sorry, which are vital to any real apology.
She will now be relegated to the nosebleed section of the House with no real authority other than her occasional one vote on issues, which it the least of what they should have done. Thinking if she goes full Q in the future she will removed from Office, and of-course she will quickly claim her martyr status among the weak minded such as herself.

what a great profile in courage- I was allowed to believe.....how old was she when she was "allowed" to believe that sick ass shit? and who gave her permission?

It is weird how she loved and bought into Qanon conspiracy theories right on up until the evening of January 4th when her committee assignments were on the line.

wy are we punishing Congress people ELECTED BY CONSTITUENTS in Congress for what they say before they were in Congress?- and I mean that for any person of any party

Just more insane cancel culture

Now she wears a mask that says “censored”. Republicans demand the right to do everything without Being held to any responsibility for what they do.

Of course.

I heard that the Jews who control the forest-fire-starting space lasers also allow her to believe in QAnon nuttery. :rofl2:

Criminals and nutters belong in prisons or nuthouses. If peasants elect either, they should be disfranchised.

Her constituents do not get a say on which committees she serves on.

That is up to her House colleagues.

It was not long ago that she was cheering for the assassination of Democratic leaders, who are now her colleagues. It is not exactly ancient history.

Her colleagues are not obligated to sit in committees with someone who fantasized about their murder.

The lesson here is that everyone is accountable for the words that come out of their mouths or off their keyboard.

I don’t even know what the fuck “allowed to believe” means.

Like when you guys boycotted the NFL because some teams allowed kneeling?

CANCEL CULTURE. What about when you boycotted NORDSTROM because they stopped selling Ivanka's line of fashion? Remember when you demanded Omar be stripped of committee assignments for something she actually did not say?
