Masking- I'm done

Not wearing a mask in a pandemic is not political, it is just stupid.

This is uncharted territory and no one has all the answers. There has not been a pandemic in 100 years.

So, I choose to err on the side of caution and be considerate of others. Survival of the fittest, I guess.

If masks worked, you might have a point, but they don't. Want to test? take a puff off your cigarette or vape, hold it in, put the mask on, exhale. You will see all of the smoke or vaper coming out the sides, top and bottom of the mask. you are being taken, lied to. You are as much a sheep as muslim women who drape themselves in black sheets because Mohammed told them to. Stupidity knows no bounds. you libs prove it every day.

Dark Soul is proving his namesake: he's risking lives for a political statement.

He thinks "so what if some old person dies?" as long as it makes him laugh.

hmm, did old people die before covid? the number of deaths in the USA in 2020 was no more than 2019 or 1980. Look it up, you are being lied to. Covid is not the bladk plague.

Yes. Has the death rate increased since Trump fucked up the COVID responses? Look it up.

No one but you have claimed, hinted or mentioned that COVID is the "bladk plague", son. If someone else made that claim, please link it.

Not wearing a mask in a pandemic
The only pandemic occurring atm is Liberalism, and mask wearing will not stop that pandemic either.

is not political, it is just stupid.
What is stupid is thinking that a mask can somehow stop a virus or its spread (or end a pandemic).

This is uncharted territory and no one has all the answers.
No, it isn't. We've dealt with the spread of diseases for as long as we can remember.

There has not been a pandemic in 100 years.
Yes there has (especially as you seem to be defining it).

So, I choose to err on the side of caution and be considerate of others. Survival of the fittest, I guess.
You choose to take irrational actions due to your lack of knowledge on virology, immunology, and mask engineering.

I wear a mask to encourage others to do so as well. I do not think however those who wear cloth masks, bandanna's etc are as protected or are protecting others as much as they may think. Escpecially in warm climates, as the cotton gets wet in cloth masks/bandannas or those fishing gaiters they become breeding ground for all sorts of bad things.

in my professional opinion, n95 masks or you are fooling yourselves.

Why is this stupid?

Because you can still carry it. You are safe from a serious case and perhaps protected from a mild case. but that does not mean you do not have the virus on you. We know rightys do not care about others. The vaccine is about 90 percent effective. That makes it 10 percent ineffective.

I am not sure I agree with this logic. I do think even being vaccinated one should still wear a mask, mostly to encourage those who are not to continue to do so. but no, you are not very likely at all to be a spreader of covid after vaccination and incubation period.

The major supermarket I work in for my little retirement job. You know, the people who came to work 40+ hours a week when you pussies stayed in your basements.

I’m sticking with door #3 for you, dumbfuck asshole.

Stocking shelves after a successful career managing the 7-11, with "a slight Indian accent" lol!

Stop whining Karen.

This week I will have my booster (second) shot of the Trump Vaccine and prior to that I had two negative snot tests and two negative antibody tests. As far as The Science goes I am immune and not contagious, so the mask is off my face and in my pocket. I will not be wearing it in spite of state mandates and signs upon entering retail establishments.

If I'm scolded at or whatever by a private individual (Karen) I will state that I have been vaccinated and the conversation regarding masking won't go further. Only if asked by a store employee will I comply.

go get em Yankee Doodle

You too, deny The Science.

Earlier today, I was reflecting on the people I’ve associated with in my life. It occurred to me that I always gravitated to the smart people. From my earliest memories, I never hung out with anyone but. My peers through college were the honor students, the musicians, the scientists, and the good kids.

Then, after college I had careers that did not require me to deal much with the general public. All my peers were like me. Degrees in the sciences. BS through PhD. Biologists, chemists, virologists, cytogeneticists, microbiologists, geologists, etc. Intellectually curious. That was my “normal” and I never gave it much thought.

Then, after retirement, I tried something different. Working with and interfacing with the general public. Only then did I realize how fucking stupid and willfully ignorant a good portion of the population is. That is certainly validated by reading posts on this forum by massive morons such as you.

Which brings me back to the three types of maskless idiots I see every day.

1) Assholes
2) Clueless dumbucks, and
3) You. The combination of 1&2
